Am writing geo in 3hrs time from now am hoping it will help me too
All the best 🙂
Im writing tomorrow what if im not given the two true beacon 😭how do i calculate
You must be able to calculate from any point given just follow the question and understand it. We dan use spot heights or contour lines😅🙂
How did you get 1.9cm.
You’re one of the students who don’t listen in class 🤣 (kidding)
1.9 cm is measured with the ruler on the map between two points
What if the answer has two numbers before the comma?...for example 18,2 must i write it as 1:18,2
You can round off to the nearest 10. In your example you will write 1:18 which is a very steep gradient 🙂
@@EverythingGeography7 Thank u
@AlwandeDlamini-0309 pleasure🙂
Aren't u supposed to divide the horizontal equilibrium with 500 coz we 're using topographic map not orthophoto map??
No no. Don’t confuse yourself. This is gradient not vertical exaggeration 🙂
No , to make things simpler you multiply the distance in cm by 500
So your answer must be in ratio form??
Yes
Is it comma or point
Where?
How did you know the area
Which area?
Its gave me 0.312
No, divide the denominator by the numerator 🙂
Few hours then I'm writing
Good luck 😉
cm × cm= cm²
We not calculating area
Ab Hindi mein batao Taki Pata Lage
mujhe hindee semajh nahin aatee dost
When i was dividing 296,7 and 950 it gave me 0,312315785
We want to get a ratio. Listen carefully to what I say on that part 🙂 296,7/296,7 / 950/296,7 which is 1/?? therefore 1 : ? 😉
@@EverythingGeography7 I don't understand 😭
😂 what is it you don’t understand ? Listen to the video clearly everything is nicely explained just follow through.
That's because he didn't Multiply 950 with 500. 950x500=475000.
2967/475000. Now divide these two figures with 2967 to get 1:160.09
