dont know if anyone gives a damn but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the latest series on InstaFlixxer. I've been streaming with my gf these days :)
Nice to have you back! You should revisit the N64, because the newer versions of the N64RGB mod includes deblur now! Imagine, finally sharp N64 on your BVMs!
Wanna say a massive thank you for this video. It really helped me. Interestingly I did the ClassicWB ADVSP and minimig or my monitor didn't like it at all. It had a weird dithering or flickering. So I'm re-installing the low res version.
Great video that I think covers the basics on how to get up and running. To avoid interlacing, you can probably run the ADVSP version in DblPAL mode with the VGAOnly driver, but I prefer the regular ClassicWB Lite version. It's fast, doesn't waste Chip RAM, and the scaling is much cleaner on my BenQ monitor. You can of course go crazy with the Workbench setup if you want - I have a 4 GB PFS3 partition for Workbench + FAT95 so I can access the SD card directly from Workbench, and then I downloaded a ~6 GB WHDLoad games pack somewhere off the net...
Never knew about this. Great video as always. Hope there are more to come in the near future. Any possibility on a PVM/BVM maintenance/repair guide one day?
Hey phondork, have you messed around with emulation pcs outputting to rgb monitors? Retroarch recently released some new updates that make emulation a competitive option. These updates reduce input lag and enable automatic resolution switching to crt monitors.
phonedork. Cool man. I'm trying incorporate a gameing pc into my setup right now. I currently have a raspberry pi hooked up to a pvm but the image is blurry and there is some lag. I have high hopes for my new pc build. Having some trouble getting it to output video to my monitor right now. What type of emulation setup do you use? Retroarch? Crt emudriver?
Hey Phondork, I got Retroarch working with crtemudriver on my pvm. With superresolutions and switchres arcade games look virtually perfect. Also, with ran ahead reducing input lag (sometimes 4 frames). Many of the games are playing with less input lag than original hardware. It's jaw dropping. I'm like a street fighter god on that thing. run ahead has problems but I've found that with the FinalBurnAlpha core it almost always runs flawlessly with my pc.
Nice tutorial. Just a thing, don't extract your zip files before moving them on the Amiga. With some games Windows can't handle the file names, use the unZip option within dOpus once you have your zipped games somewhere. :)
Never had or used an Amiga. Still watched the whole video. Its great to see that there are projects out there keeping classic computer software alive.
Happy to see you making vid's again.

The AntiClick is to stop your Disk Drive clicking when you have no disk inserted, does not alter the sound of a disk loading.
A Phonedork video without terrible clipping audio??? WHAT YEAR IS IT???
Brilliant explanation, cheers for the video.

Great guide, thanks for this. Have you heard of TinyLoader apparently it makes selecting games very easy and loads on boot to a a game list
Yea I use it on the Mister. But I prefer scrolling for the game with a mouse. Much faster
@@phonedork Yeah that what im currently trying to setup on my MiSTer. Is it easy to install at all?
I don't know what the hell i just watched but i like it
Please, upload more video
What is the tune at the 11min mark?
The Great Jonzini Its from Jim Power on the Amiga. One of my favorite tunes

based
can make your WHDLoad file available for me to test at misterFPGA?
Or you could just use one of the installers like Amibian/HstWB. Can boot straight to a WHDload menu. It's pretty sweet.
Ambian is a emulator right?
