    Sorry guy ,in Denmark Copenhagen,we have an electrical self driving metro for a long time. I have been in Riyadh 4 times this year 2022 and I expect it helps tourists and citizens of this big city to move around easily.There are as many cars as inhabitants in this city or more. It is normal to have 1 or 2 cars. There is not rush hours the motorways are fully packed no matter when and apart from the city center the rest of the outskirt cities is a disaster. People drive as hell, specially people from India and Pakistan I have noticed.I have been in India many times and I know what I mean with my last argument, with all my respect to them.

    • @SharukhSaifi
      @SharukhSaifi 2 года назад

      You are so wrong. I am living in riyadh for 5 years and things you said aren’t true. First thing most of roads aren’t that much packed it’s just take 30 mins to travel 50kms or more in city. Second no never Indians and Pakistani drive like hell since they can’t afford it it’s expensive to drive like hell here the fines some times cost double the amount of salary these workers receive in two months. Most of the time rash driving are done by Saudi People.

    • @gilbertoludvigsen3585

      @@SharukhSaifi Hi guy.We agreed how expensive this country is,no doubt.That is right no all indias and Pakistanis can afford a car,but they are exactly them that drive trucks,vans,etc as courriers,taxi drivers,food delivery 24/7,laundry delivery, furniture delivery,Amazon delivery.These jobs are done by foreigners and not by Saudis you know that ,nothing to hide.There are thousands of foreigners that have their own firmas and they have cars.Have you ever visited Tuwaiq in the south west Riyadh most populated area with inmigrants? Give it a try! I can send you tones of videos in rush hours and normal times.I travel soon to KSA in October maybe we can meet each other.I was in Al Khober and Damman that is something different.It looks more cosmopolitan and cosy and people drive carefully.I love this country,its culture,people, language, no matter what other western people think.I never discuss about politics.

    You really do 'talk' and 'show' a lot of twaddle!
    This project has been ongoing for more than 10 years, has completely destroyed some areas of downtown Riyadh, bankrupted businesses and by its construction operations and ensuing road closures/diversions has completely ruined the main shopping street and even one or two malls.
    This is one guy's (everybody knows who) dreamchild - it's a complete waste of money, as it will NOT be for Saudis when its complete, they will stay in their cars, it will be only for the expat workers, e.g. Bengalis, Pakistanis, Sudanis etc etc.
    Just as it is in Dubai, however the population of that city is 90% expatriate so it was somewhat needed, especially as the Govt took over the Taxi system and raised prices 4 or 5-fold (just as they did down the road in Abu Dhabi), and the poor South Asians and Philippini cannot afford taxis anymore.
    In KSA, the population is 65% locals and only 35% Expatriate and that is reducing daily due to young Saudis starting to 'work'.
    The population of Riyadh is approx 6.7 million, so there's a long way to go to reach 10million and business, despite publicity blurb (methinks you are following/repeating the same BS) is very flat because Businessmen are afraid to take money from their pockets in case they get called to a certain hotel by the 'big boy' and are asked to explain how they came by such funds.
    I do wish you guys, who insist on making this UTube twaddle, actually did some homework, maybe even visited a place and knew more about what you are talking about! .. People watching this might even think that Riyadh is a wonderful city. It's NOT!

      In addition, metros are highly harmful for the environment. Air-conditioning contributes to urban heat island effect, air pollution and global warming.
