I think the hydrophone operator just heard your own baffles because you were going four knots under water at the time. You picked it up at 180 degrees right at the stern. If you had shut the motors off, the signal would have disappeared. Very good video.
I don't know what it is, but the interior looks too clean. In SH3 the Type 7 interior looked more claustrophobic and gloomy. Other than that, the U-boat's operation with all the ballasts and engine procedures look amazing.
yeah they make interior white like teh museumsship. it was painted wiht radiator paint for durability against weatheirng. but it has nothing to do with original color, wich was dark grey
The developers intend to make a Scapa Flow harbor attack mission. So yeah, something like that is comming. Infact, there is a Bogue carrier information in the recognition manual. Not seen in the water though. Early access and all that.
Tends to be based on the type of sub game. If it's an arched you'll attack more military ships. If it's a sim especially a uboat Sim you're going to be attacking freighters. Because well that's realistically your target. As far as Sims go any pacific theater ones tend to have you hitting more military vessels as well the US targeted them more than Germans. It's a similar thing with sonar uboat Sims won't use it but US subs will

Should’ve had the “Tipperary” song like on Das Boot
👍🤪

i think this game will shine once you can be a torpedo mechanic
Interior is good but I have no idea why the depth gauge is inaccurate.
What an amazing game simulator
I hope they implement torpedo officer with loading, maintance, open vents(flooding), preheating, adjusting and manual firing on order the torpedos.
Looks promising. Hopefully they'll let you take on carriers and battleships, unlink other sub games that tend to only focus on freighters.

I have only seen smaller warships amd freighters.
Personally im hoping they introduce land masses, islands etc at one point and make it open world.
@@Adalla Thanks for the video. Yes, we definitely plan to have more maps with harbors and channels, so the Navigator role can be fully utilized.

Is this simulation going to be fully released one day? When?
the music of Das Boot could have been better, much it sounds much to modern for the subject
Good intro..lol
One of the best war movie ever made. Even the longest version feel like 1 hour you want to see more ! 😂
