Great Video! It really is cool to see this on the videos, but as you said, it's next level to see it print in front of you! It's crazy to see how fast it is and I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Thanks @TheEdgeofTech . I´m still testing. Different materials like ASA/ABS/PETG/HIPS/PLA/PLA+ and none had bigger problems with the "Generic" profiles, coming with the Bambulab Studio and that at "medium" speeds. Will make a summary after more testing / printing. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Sandor -DM4DS
@RichardRecupero yes I was and I´m still excited. I use 3D printer for a long time, build my own, modified all others, but this is the first one OOTB printing just fine, without ringing or tweeking again and again the profiles. I had one "probem print" now, but I´m sure it was a slicer problem. Trying to replicate and doing maybe a video if I can. You will enjoy your X1C , I´m sure. Would love to hear your oppionen, after your first prints.
@craftedcores Thanks for your comment . I try and hope getting better and better. The cutting I don´t like but it´s part of the "game" :) Happy new Year 2023 - Sandor - DM4DS
Merry Christmas to you and your family, too. I´m printing almost non stop and no failures yet. ASA/ABS/PLA/HIPS/PETG looks great. Not tested TPU. I know that it does not work with the AMS. Will post a summary after more testing , printing. greetings Sandor - DM4DS
Excellent! Mine came about 3 weeks ago but had to wait until Xmas, so just got it set up yesterday and wow cannot believe how fast and good the prints are. Also this is not my first printer, have a few, also IDEX machines which are sometimes a real pain to get set up correctly....
@@DM4DS cheers this is obvious now. I was thrown off by the selection on the website. There is a X1C combo and then there is an X1C combo + AMS. The difference between the two is around €50. Any idea how these ones differ? They seem to have the same "what's in the box picture"
@@CorpsMedia That´s only in the UK store I think and the only difference is for me: "in stock" or "pre-order" - the parts list etc look the same to me. so maybe you have to pay a few bucks more to get it fast :) But to be sure, write support an email or use the ticket system.
Update! I used a 75mm wide spool and it does NOT work! If you "just" print, it works but during filament change, the filament is turned backwards and that does not work. The spool is not spinning while it moves to the side and away from the gummy rollers. greetings Sandor
@@kbruin79 Don´t think so, there are 2 plastic nubsies, covering a little bit of the roller and that is causing the problem, i think . for me, i have made a small spool winder (in my #shorts from today) to "change" the spool itself of mine too wide spool. maybe that´s a solution for you too. Needs time, but if you are happy with your filament, it´s winding by itself....combine it with and endstop and viola :)
Best video I have seen so far on this printer, brilliant, thank you.

@@DM4DS Awesome! Merry Christmas!
You were really excited. I was on the edge of my seat. What an amazing printer. I bought one and can’t wait to print 4 colors

Fast and superb quality... So you made yourself a nice xmas gift.. Have fun
I just bought this the day after Christmas. I'm so excited for this.
Nice! I got mine last week and feel the same! Amazingly well done package & as most everyone says, “game changer”!
Just wanted to drop in here and thank you for your videos! Just found them and think you do great!

Wow unbelievable excited 👍

Merry Christmas.
You got a really nice present this year.
The machine really looks interesting!

I know what you are talking about with IDEX :) Enjoy your X1. Happy New Year - Sandor - DM4DS
Question for the owners.
Replacement nozzles and shit, are they all proprietary?
yes they are. but I´m sure it´s just a matter of time that the copy cat is doing it´s job
I can't find any clear differences between the X1C and and X1C Combo. What's the difference and does it warrant the €400 price difference
It's the AMS. If you want print multi material, you should go with the AMS for automatic filament change. For me it's easily worth the extra money.

I've just ordered mine, thanks for the help dude. Sub earned!
@@CorpsMedia awesome. give me feedback after your first prints! Enjoy the "next level" :) Big thanks for the sub.
Thanks for the video. Will the AMS fit a 75mm wide spool?
my widest is 70mm and there is plenty of space left on both sides. I´m sure 75mm spools fit. Hope this helpy you. Merry Christmas Sandor - DM4DS

Is there a way to make it work?

Klingen stumpf??
I ordered mine 3 months ago, still nothing
Have you checked your status? Maybe you missed the email to pay the printer within 3 days?
I already paid for if, apparently is in transit.
In transit sounds good. Happy printing - Sandor
But we did want to see your password. 😅
Maybe in the next video :) Happy printing - Sandor - DM4DS
