Just referring to the ignorant women. I know the majority of women in the Philippines don't think this way. And not all white men talk that negative talk. Just want to get this out there people. It's always ✌️ ❤. Never had a negative experience in the Philippines from my younger days in Subic, to my older man life in Cebu or Bohol.

Was born and raised by a Filipina mom and a West African dad, and my siblings and I suffered from segregation and racism within our maternal family system. Unfortunately, the family’s intentions prevailed and my mom divorced my father, he never wanted to leave or divorce and still supported her financially after the fact, withheld emotional and mental abuse and was told to go away and find someone…she nailed him on a cross when he found himself a wife of our ethnic group in his homeland of Ivory Coast. She demanded that he file an annulment with his new wife and remarry her! Now she sings the song to my siblings that she was never loved and to stay away from the blacks!! This kind of ideology is crippling and traumatic. Let love reign.

If you only knew the Night Clubs here in California that would be packed on the weekends with Filipinas who had once been married to Whites, that had brought them to the U.S., And now were divorced inside these clubs with their arms around Black Men. Filipinas aren't inherently prejudice or racist and when we find that they are it is because they've been indoctrinated not just from movies, but someone is normally sitting down with them telling of lies . She said she learned about Black from movies, bad movies. Then stop watching the bad movies about Black and search out some non-fiction and that should set your mental compass back to normal,, And stay away from Whites when they're racist, that helps too m

Lee, you hit the nail on the head. My wife is filipino and we are happily married. When we first met here in Virginia, her "friends" told her to dump the "tisoy," there are so many white men here. I'm an American of hispanic descent and have done well for myself. Part of the issue, including supporting the old colonialist views is that the Philippines continues to perpetuate a FALSE narrative of white is right. They are doing a severe disservice to themselves and missing out on potentially great life partners. We have a home in Las Pinas and are building another in the providence and plan to use them perhaps a quarter of the year because we will be traveling. I look forward to going there, but at the end of the day, you cannot changes stupid. Best of luck to you and your family. Stay well.

"Racism" & "discrimination" are not the same phenomena. "Racism" (BY DEFINITION) typically occurs as part of one group's SYSTEMIC & coordinated efforts to oppress a "subordinate" people group. There ARE NO Black folks collectively oppressing anybody else on the planet.
I could share/post several credible social science book titles & online academic presentations on the definition, history, & psychology of "RACISM." but my experience has been that YT will erase the entry (because they want the populace to remain ignorant, dumb, & uneducated).

But don’t get it in the way of your plans for visiting and, possibly, residing here. I too have been discriminated against in the US both by white and black people. But it did not prevent me from liking the US or going back there again. I’m Filipino and a resident of the Philippines.

I too am married to a Filipina, we have been married for over 8 years and together for 14 years. Now, I never thought about racist views from indigenous Filipinos, because every time I went there I was treated by her family as part of her family, however in the USA, many Filipinos come here and pick up racist behavior. An example was her aunt living in the San Francisco bay area, when I first met her, my wife was very excited to introduce me to her family there, her mother is from a conservative side, and I was warned from her father's side that I would have issues, but nonetheless, as introductions were said and done, this aunt looked at me and said; "In the Philippines, black people are looked at as pimps, drug pushers, murderers, drug users....." Shocked at this blatant stereotype, I gathered my thoughts and calmly responded..."Well, if I were to go to a prison in the Philippines, and had a chance to look at all the drug dealers, murderers, pimps and so and so.....how many would look like YOU? as opposed to looking like me?".... She never expected such a comeback...silence. Anyway, I have had the opportunity to date many different Asian cultures prior to marrying my wife and for the most part, it was wonderful and exciting to see how we bridge the gap of stereotypes and beliefs and when it comes down to it, we are just another couple that has brushed off racist beliefs and we enjoyed each other's company. I respect Filipinos because they work so hard to care for not only their partner but family values as well. Yes, I'm the only black man in their horde, but i'm treated as family and we all have a good time when we are together....(father's side of the family) Keep positive and you have a beautiful family.

Thanks for this insight. I'm a Black South African going to the Manila for 2 weeks on vacation. I will be meeting up with a friend of mine but I hope not to encounter any of these stereotypes over there.
I'm a senior engineer who travels around the world implementing projects and I encountered something similar to this in Brazil. I booked a taxi for the week to take me and the white junior engineer from the hotel to the office where we will be working. The taxi driver was a white guy and when it came to paying him, he asked who would be paying and I said that I will. He smirked and said that it will be expensive and if I can afford it, I told him obviously I can. End of the week on the invoice he put the white junior engineers name on the invoice to pay for the weekly trip.
I've learned to simply ignore these stereotypes and continue with my life, I can't have them stop me from going forward in life.

I am a 47 year old Black man. I remember during my undergrad years at Fresno State, I had the pleasure of dating a young Filipina. We knew each other from high school actually and at the time, I was a star athlete. We liked each other a lot and dated off and on. She introduced me to her family and I remember eating those eggrolls (Lumpia!!) ALL DAY!! I remember she told me though that her father instructed her NOT to date me for many of the same stereotypes you mentioned in this video. I asked her why her father would say such a thing? She told me that specifically "Black guys beat their women AND they don't have good credit." Eventually we stopped dating but not entirely as a result of that. I do remember thinking to myself though that "I don't wanna fight that fight just to be able to date a woman. It's hard enough in this world just being a Black man ESPECIALLY in America. Let me go find me a Sistah of my own that won't fight me on this level of thinking." Oddly enough........years later I discovered that our own Black women don't want us either!! RIP Kevin Samuels💯

I'm a 60-year-old black man about to be 61 in April and I was treated well in the Philippines even though I saw some that acted funny toward black men speaking of the women there but not many. I happen to love the Filipino people. And I've been being an ex-betron are being a veteran I mean I'm not an ex-factor, but I've been to the Philippines Thailand almost around the world and I have no problem with Filipino women but I think that a lot of that comes from foreigners meaning the Europeans and even the whites that are here in the US when they go to these countries they tell those women not to talk to black people not to talk to black men we don't take care of our children we beat our women and we do this and we do that and we don't take care of our kids when every other race on this planet does the same thing that they're describing they make us the point of their conversations when it comes to anything negative about our people. But it's nothing really we can do it's up to that individual to take the time out and look at an individual and job that judge them by their character and who they are as a human being.

The first time I visited the Philippines with my Filipina, when we came back home to the US, my friends and family wanted to know if everyone looked at me strangely while I was over there. To which my Filipina replied: "No, they look at me. By myself, I look like every Filipino. No one pay me attention. But with Joe, they know he is a foreigner, and they call me Miss and open the door for me, people at the bank want to assist me right away. Without Joe I will be ignored." One of my friends asked: "So he's a status symbol?" "Yes," my ex-school teacher Filipina replied. "He lift my status very much." The second thing I would like to say is, we were treated like royalty. I don't speak Tagalog but everyone seemed to like me. Especially when I made them laugh. They found me very friendly and became even more warm and friendly towards me. We were in the province so I don't deny catching a strange sideways glance or two. But, overall - province or Iloilo City - I will die with memories of my Filipina and our trips to her country as being most wonderful highlights in my life.

My life partner is Filipina as well and it’s definitely a cultural ignorance. Luckily I’ve had many conversations with her about these same types of stereotypes and just certain things that I see not just towards us but in their culture as well that don’t make sense like how they deal with family issues , and personal issues and I think you’re right we as a culture as so similar we’re probly the most fit to date a Filipina or marry a Filipina, there is just enough on both ends to balance out the other. My favorite part about being with a Filipina is being able to break that stereotype and being able to get her to see things from point of view and she’s told me I’ve grown bc of you , some of things we grow up thinking about black guys and certain topics are just not right but in the Philippines that’s what we’re taught so let them get to know us and it’s nice that being around me could possibly spread amongst the an entire group .

This is just my take on it my friend. This preference for white men in the Philippines isn't racially motivated, but rather classist originally. Spain made sure that their white citizens are considered superior, to the point that fair skinned Filipinos were given preference compared to darker skinned Pinoys. This fed into tribal thinking that dark skin equals field worker, therefore poor. While fair skinned means resting under roofs, hence rich. Filipinos can be bias against darker skinned people, even if they are Filipinos too. Now when the Americans came, they perpetuated these thoughts further. There are even American newspaper clippings that depicted Filipinos as the same as "uneducated Africans" and therefore have to be liberated from their "savage" roots. So these thoughts remained strong to this day. What I can say is that while Filipinos still have a strong preference for white skinned foreigners due to these misteachings (ie wanting a fair skinned child), NO FILIPINO will ever regard a black man as "less" than him/herself like the white racists do. Most instances of racism in the Philippines is based on crude humor, never hate.

The thought Is from Esau, keep in mind this is the way that 90% of older generation Asians think - They literally have grown up with their parent regurgitating every black stereotype every second and their parents did it to them. Especially if they’re from a different country, Esau has laid his presence in those countries as well and played the part of the hero whispering in their ears and speaks to them about us in a very derogatory manner. Esau will go to Asian countries at 70 years old and get a 19 -year-old wife and ravage them with hatred of the black man - They then carry these ideas of Black people for generations and then pass it on to their children. As a man that was once married to a Filipino and have dated several Asian women, I’ve had this conversation several times and we’ve all come to this conclusion.
And regarding the status thing. That person on the RUclips channel you were watching is right, the Esau will drop your status within his eyes when they see you with a black man because they are from the devil and filled with hate, they are demonically influenced and program by Esau and have “Hate” for melanated people for thousands of years, it takes a very strong woman to date a black man, she needs to understand what she’s getting herself into and love that man with all of their soul and being because they know that the person they are with is an amazing person. Esau is a liar, by every sense of the word.

Of the ones who want to date a foreigner yes more say they want a white guy but they also say they prefer a younger guy with blonde hair and blue eyes which most guys don't qualify. Even so if a black guy goes over there he will have way more women interested in him than he does at home. Same thing in Japan and Korea even though they are supposedly more racist there. I watched your whole video. What i have discovered about Asia is that most people have a "colonial" mindset which is reinforced by Hollywood. If Hollywood and the entertainment industry says that a Louis Vuitton bag worn by Jennifer Aniston is in, then it makes them feel like they need to look like Jennifer and buy that bag in order to feel "valuable". All the West has to do is continually feed a weak mind with constant imagery (propaganda) until your subconscious believes it's true. Colonialism teaches non whites that whites are the beautiful ones, stronger ones, rich ones, most intelligent ones, while non whites (that would include everyone who isn't of European decent) are ugly, criminal, poor, non intelligent, unacceptable.
The reason why colonialism exists is to ensure that there will be a labor force that will take care of the elites i.e. white colonials.
A person must "unplug" from the Hollywood and entertainment "matrix" and allow the CREATOR to reveal truth about you. Once you realize that He created you in His very image, you will no longer see yourself as invaluable or inferior. Your outcome will change as well.
Who told "you" you are beautiful
Who told "you" you are ugly
If it was a group of people then....
    If it was God....then...
    You get the picture.
Finally, to be fair, growing up, even in my own school, peer group, neighborhood, city, etc there were people who were people who were for me, and there were people who didn't like me (for no reason too). You must focus on the people who love you, and disconnect from those who don't. In this world, among your own people, in your own town, you will have people who like you, love you, and understand you. Conversely, you will have those that don't too. That's the way of the world.
Also, I have seen many videos of Asian women on You Tube expressing their disdain for white "Westerners" too. I have heard things like "all they want is sex" to "they have poor grooming standards" to too many are the "rejects" of their country coming over here looking for a woman half their age etc etc. Even "white" western men face cultural negative stereotypes.

It's interesting how so many qualities of the positives of Filipinas are lifted up. But this anti black cultural bias is common. I only discovered that when speaking with a filipina and she told me that she wasn't attracted to black guys. It wasn't said in a preference like, "I don't like redheads" but more in a way that was disrespectful to black folk. Interesting to me that many of these filipina women are very much into group think, codependency and a high level of insecurity. It is ignorance and cultural brainwashing. To me that's such a turn off that I just chose not to go with finding a filipina woman. I'll stay single in the US and if I'm going to get remarried God will provide for me a smoking hot traditional believer in Jesus Christ. Otherwise I'm solo.

You hit it right on the head. Most of them believe that if they are seeing with a white man it will up lift their status in their society. No matter the condition or age of that white man. It says a lot about the self hate they have for themselves.

I understand what Filipina have with Black men. Let me say, if I meet a Black American after I move to the Philippines I consider you a friend and a good person sick of the division in America. The issue is my girlfriend was bullied because of how dark her skin was. The are fed a lie that lighter skin is prettier and she doesn't want her children bullied like she was, and I have got her to quit using skin whitening lotion. So stereotypes are rarely accurate, and I personally wait until we interact to form an opinion

I had to let her know those people are not your friends if they couldn't see her for what she is, a beautiful and caring human been.

She's never been to America, and honestly since I am disabled now and don't work, once our legal issues are resolved, I am moving to the Philippines. Frankly I am ashamed of the United States right now. It is full of meanness and division worse than I've ever seen in my 50 years. Plus my parents are gone, and she still has all her family, so I will move to her. I don't care for Manila or Davao, but she lives in Eastern Samaar, and I love it there. When will we understand that “fear of
Black men,” is something that runs deep inside non black people, not because we have ever harmed them, but because they know our potential more than we know ourselves - no matter where we enter we end up dominating! You’re absolutely right Mr. Lee, but what puzzles me the most is the hate from non black people towards us despite of never have meeting a black person in their entire life! Imagine we would have killed millions in Vietnam or even bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki! And then you realize that the true motive is simple and plain - ENVY!

Hummm... Me Black American married to a Filipina. I really don't care if some Filipina women think that way. These are the people who buy "skin whitening" creams in the Philippines to look white? Laughable! I told my wife when we were in the Philippines, that crap would never fly in America (buying skin whitening creams and calling it that). Most Filipinos have color in their skin and are brown to black themselves and are not white... but if they want to date and marry white, go ahead. There are millions, and I mean millions of Filipinas who will date and marry the brothers if we approach them. White guys love to hear that crap because it strokes their ego that their brainwashing has traveled this far. We have the swag, and all I know is that when my wife friends met me, all they wanted to know was, can they find someone like me? And when we were walking in the malls in Manila and my wife was talking to Filipinas, all they wanted to know was how can they meet someone like me? And when we were walking into shops and stores, and outdoor plazas, and my wife was talking to Filipinas, all they wanted to know was how we met and can they find someone like me? That's the truth.
