Smooth you should have chose a different topic. It’s not the 1970’s. There are millions of available Filipinas, and some are actually attractive to Black Americans. Leave race out of the equation. It’s about money. Filipinas like white men because they dig in their pockets.

I'm a 41 year old Haitian Canadian from Toronto. In 2016 I traveled to Cebu and met a nice Filipina there as well who was 23 at the time. I can also say that it was the best choice I made too. We have been married since 2018 and have 3 kids together. We live in Manila. A marriage is the single biggest investment a man can ever make, so it is crucial to pick the right woman if we decide to go down that path.
As filipinos get increasingly exposed to western culture they clearly see the contributions and influence black people have on society..whether its entertainment, politics, sports, business, etc. They understand (especially the younger generation) that their livelihood depends on adapting and coexisting which will get them further in life. Even in their own culture they are starting to understand that skin tone is no longer a barrier to success or prosperity. When societal barriers are off the table, physicality is left..and filipinas are physically attracted to black men.

Brother you are preachin again and Im standing in the pews listening to the gospel of Smooth Lee! These are the same men who swore that white women wouldn't date black men. But we know how that works, right! Bro, you cant make a man be confident or change his mindset. I haven't lost confidence since the lightbulb went on and the talent took over on the field and in the classroom during my college years. Having said that, few people posses the gifts that you have, brother. They might perpetrate, but thats all it is. Simply put, you cant fake the funk and those men that youre talking about will come here and do about as well as they did at home because they lack the necessary skillset and mindset needed for success in the dating world and life in general! Best wishes to you for a safe and happy holiday season. Most humbly, Richie Rich
I'd like to add one more point. The Philippines was colonized by Spain for a very long time. Spain brought with them Catholicism and an affinity for white skin. Filipinos ate it up. Later, America ran out the Spanish and colonized some more. This more than anything, cemented the idea of white greatness in the eyes of Filipinos. It's slowly changing. But this might take generations.
@@mentorinspired History is what makes us who we are. Our ancestors passed their culture down to us. I'm not judging Filipinos. I'm only sharing what I've researched.
Society has done a number on the confidence of black men. It is not all the time that black men can look beyond what is presented in front of them. Even when growing up, I used to hear from men of other races that their women didn't like black men. I can imagine how that feeds into the psyche. Going around the world, you start to see a different story and you would be surprised at how adventurous and open women of other races are. Huge social pressure may stop them, but when no one is watching, it will all come out. Filipinas are one of the more open women. Of course, some are fascinated with white skin, but that is some. I'm amazed to hear people even ask these questions.
