- In today's yugioh vlog we head back to locals to tackle the new tier zero format with... well, a tier zero deck. Perhaps a controversial opinion but I actually LOVE the current meta and have been having a lot of fun. Hopefully that positivity shines through in the vlog and you enjoy our journey together :) Also, I filmed this like Returning To Yugioh and Sealed Only 1v1 so it should be a little nostalgic too!

@@pinopino1385 I just found his channel a few weeks ago (just getting back into YGO after years, this seemed like a good series to look into) but i cant see any explanation why he quit, also his IG seems to be deleted. I just saw a tweet where he mentioned that he is glad that he dont make YGO content anymore. Do you know any lore?
@@Tokent555 i really don’t know the details and I also don’t care. But at some point he broke up with his longterm GF at from that point on the content got less and less. I don’t know how much it actually affected him, but yeah. He might be also just sick of the game/community even though he just came back into the game. He also has a second art channel on RUclips which seems do be doing way better than this one. Could be another reason.
@@pinopino1385 Thank you, this is already more than I knew :D Yea I saw his art channel, i was both surprised how GOOD he was, and how big the channel is. Totally understandable, there was a time when I completely stopped playing LoL as I was sick of the state of the game, the community, everything, I think its a phase for everyone who is grinding a game for YEARS, no matter the game.

I can’t believe how explosive the deck is! I knew they could do a lot but the fact you could have your board set up get broken and rebuild it fairly easily that’s insane!
Honestly it doesn’t really matter what game you’re playing but there’s just something special about the vibe of going to locals. Being able to connect and interact with people who share the same interests as you as well as broaden your knowledge of the game is just such a nice feeling IMO

Funny enough the last locals I went to I went against the bystials and spright cards for the first time and I realise how out of touch I am with the meta so getting to see how the meta decks play so this’ll help a lot!

Our Locals is very to me. I met some of my coolest friends there over the last 3 years and now we are tourin Germany and the countries around for its YCSes and Regios. Never in my life would i imagined Yugioh becomin such a important thing to me. But it was the best thing (and worst for my wallet) ever since graduating from School.
I can only implore you to give locals a go. There might be only arses there or just the best group of future friends you could meet

It is always nice to see Ruggles upload yugioh video 😁.
It seems a lot of folks are enjoying how interactive the format is, which is funny, since most folks seem more annoying that they're previous format decks aren't just able to floodgate or OTK through their locals.
But I'm one of those folks that enjoys a good grind game and therefore a bit more of an oddity in Yugioh
If you like non-linear combo decks, you should consider Endymions. They still can compete even with Servant at 1 and Electrumite banned. Just beat a Tear-Ishizu deck with them yesterday.

Seeing this makes me want to play Yugioh again but i forgott, i live in Germany XD here are literally no locals, even in the bigger cities like Berlin and i dont have any friends who also play so i guess i have to enjoy yugioh by watching others haha
