Thank you for your honesty and vulnerability. Life is one crazy journey. It usually never goes the way we plan. People and relationships can be complex. I hope your daughter finds peace as she moves forward.
Hey! you're welcome. It can be a very fun activity. Although, sometimes, it can be a bit of an effort...at least we are able to have some kind of solution to hair loss..which is never fun lol xx
@@jackiespence hi Jackie! I don’t believe you’ve commented before, I’m so pleased you did today. I’m so very pleased you enjoy the videos, it makes it all worthwhile. It’s truly why I do it. Sending hugs xxx
I don't have hair loss but I have worked hard to repair my hair growth after dyeing my hair every month for decades! So now when I want to change my hair colour or style I look for a wig instead! In the 1950's and 60's it was very normal for all women to do the same.
Wow, how interesting! I do remember that women used to wear wigs regularly in those decades. I also remember people mocking those poor guys who chose to wear toupees, do you remember that? My aunt used to wear a wig every now and again and I recall it was a big brunette number..very glam! So now you wear a wig if you want a change?! what a good solution, fantastic. There's only so much you can dye your hair...in fact I heard that even Marilyn Monroe's hair was suffering from the constant bleaching!
First off, that wig looks spectacular on you! Secondly, I so enjoy listening to your life stories. Mine is so very similar to yours and it really hit home with me. We can’t change others, even with a baby, can we? I hope the meeting goes well with your ex and your daughter and hope it provides some peace. Please let us know. ❤
Hi. So nice to hear your feedback. It seems many women have had this same situation. I don't know your age but many women in their 50s, who were in their 20s in the 1990s did what I did. I was so naive and inexperienced that I simply did not know that having a baby was really not the right decision. I tell my daughter regularly, in fact I told her today, that separation is not good when you have a child, never mind having a baby to fix a relationship. We are due to go to my daughter's father's place on 13th...thanks for your kind words xx
I’ve caught up at last! Love hearing your stories. Whilst in Tuscany, I came face to face with my niece’s father, someone who left my sister’s and his kids life and went to Australia years ago. Since then my sister has passed away and he has a wife and young child who were invited to the wedding. His young daughter was a flower girl. My brain was still stuck in the past and I found it extremely difficult coming face to face with him. I’m sure it must be quite daunting for your daughter to see her father After many years and great that you can support her in this. Look forward to tmr’s vlog xx
@@LindaSiggs oh my goodness! What a story. That must have been so hard for you. We do have our heads in the past sometimes, don’t we. So many dramatic and emotional things happen and it seems unthinkable that life has moved on so much. And he has moved on too, I’m sorry to hear that you lost your sister. I’ll see you tomorrow xx
Do you never go out with just a hat or a baseball cap on? I get so hot when I'm active and the itching of the lacefronts bothers me. Plus I hate hair in my face, like this wig you are wearing constantly falling in your face 😂
Hahaha, well, I'd rather hair in my face than...no hair! I do love this wig actually. Lovely colour. I did wear a straw hat on the beach this summer but, other than that I don't tend to wear hats. There is no perfect solution unfortunately, I just try to do what I can. Thanks for your message xx
