"Remodeling" and adding drawers, laminate top, t-track and a bench vise to my old work bench.

For this project, I took my trusty workbench and resurfaced and remodeled it so that I could add easily, accessible storage. First, I added a few full-sized drawers. Then, one of my favorites, a smooth, clean, laminate surface. Finally, the icing on the cake with the wood bench vise and an embedded T-track along with T-track on the work bench. The plan was to do this all on a budget, minimizing the project costs. The only purchased items were T-track, track accessories and bench vise. Everything else we had somewhere in the shop.

I'm currently planning out something very similar to your vacuum setup. I'm basing mine around a Festool extractor so the vac can be controlled via Bluetooth. Before I went that way, I just add a light to the power strip to kick the vacuum on, and just tell myself it makes sense because the light helps me see the dust I'm vacuuming 😅
