The damage looks good. It's just that all the damn damage is tied to 3 boring charges of some portal ._. imagine if instead of creating a flat dmg dealing portal, the staff empowered a random damage dealing ability or some shit like that! for example: 1. your next 3 incinerate casts fire off 3 incinerates instead of just one (kinda like multistrike but better) 2. your next chaosbolt hits twice as hard 3. your 2 next immolates deal 3 times the normal damage and become undispellable that would keep the desired "chaos" of random effects that they clearly want to go for. But now it seems like they took all the dmg from the spec, and slapped it on these damn boring portals
That'd be a lot better than what it is now, imo, keeps Destro damage centered around it's core abilities instead of relying on 45s cd portals that have a minuscule chance of being reset (why was this nerfed?) and would maybe make a legitimate Chaos Bolt spec viable, even if only through rng procs.
I really like the portals as they are now. They could maybe give chaos bolt or conflag a high chance to reset the cd or something since conflate has a cd and chaos bolt requires shards.

Am I missing something or were you casting instant Incinerates at some points? :o Either that or I totally blanked the cast bar, but at the end of the vid with the DH (before the Mage comes in) you seem to be casting instant Incinerates and I don't see the proc on your bar? Chaos Bolts are not even worth casting anymore. They take too long, costs 2 soul shards, and the damage is completely lackluster. You're better off going with the shadowburn build, like Cob said; it's boring, but it's the best build.
Chaos bolt blows so much ass. I knew all the whiners would get it nerfed because "it does too much damaaaaaaggggeeeee!!!!!!" completely forgetting all the setup it requires to even cast, getting kicked and interrupted constantly.
Is destruction good now and is it fun, or is it just him? because I'm playing shadow priest right now and it's kinda like middle ground in fun and good.

As far as the visuals go, it doesent look like a Destro Lock. But the pro-longed fights and use of CC definetely do. Istead of 1-2 shotting people with Chaos bolts its back too slowly chunk down the opponent while keeping them in check with Fears and Stuns.

all locks need is soulburn back. the ability that consumes a soul shard to empower ur next ability... that was the best mechanic ever for locks.
