Oh. finally found this. Nice to see this game get more interest, even if it is 2 years ago! As a note, swapping position of Wei and Wu actually affects the balance of the two countries (the Wei/Shu border is double cavs vs the Wu/Shu borders of double spears) as the weapons on generals do make a difference. I'll only note that the group-think between this game and my group is very different, but there's so many ways to play this game due to all the differences that I'd love to watch more people play this!
Let me be the next person to say, "This game is so good!" 3p is such a hard number to get around a table. For me it is usually 2 or 5+. Thanks for the awesome playthrough!
I can't help but see the hats for armies as tanks when they're that zoomed out. I don't know why I find that so funny but I do. Great video; shame that I don't have a regular group of exactly three players, unfortunately.

Love this game. Rarely makes it to the table unfortunately, but it's always a treat when it does.

Heh, I see that now!
And while the 3p only is limiting, it's definitely special when you get a chance to make it happen! Cheers for watching!
Hurray, been excited for this vid to drop!

Cao Ren gets rice/gold when stationed -- in the novel someone calls him the "Money Grubbing Governor" :)
4:45 - Overview
7:57 - Teach
I feel like the house rule influenced the game quite a lot and puts more influence on those cards.
Amazingly close
Seriously. Unexpectedly, too!

Hi. Just to confirm, a stationed general keeps his army but the Archery/horse etc return?
Can't believe you managed to find a copy of this. I gave up years ago.
The introduction might help. Edward says how he got it and mentions a rumor that the BGG Store will be selling surplus copies at some point.
It seems you can buy it straight from Starting Player. But shipping is nuts. I'll let you know if I get it. 😂
Really? Local shops in my town have them. Thought this was easier to find than others.
I got so excited I ended up buying two off people on BGG.... now I need to find someone to buy one off me :D
For SHU to win, does the SHU player need to drag the game longer? since his total of generals are lesser.
They benefit from longer games, having better generals for a shorter period, but the game rests on the players, their experience and interactions.
I also used the Military score board for the calculation. easier. haha
