    I would classify this as my “grail game”. I’ve been wanting this game from the moment I saw it! I missed the Kickstarter back in 2018 and have been waiting patiently for it to come to retail ever since! Well I am happy to say I purchased it today and cannot wait to receive it and play! Grail game checked off the list! 🥰👏🏻 loved the video! Thank you so much for getting me hyped!

    This is going to be available in retail, but in limited quantities. They are working on a reprint/second edition that will not have as many customer groups as the KS edition does. The KS edition is huge. That is part of the reason it took so long to deliver. If they left it as it is, the game would probably have to be in the $70-$90 range. So they will break it up into a bass game and a couple of expansions. When you see how much is packed into this box and the quality of the components, those of us who back the Kickstarter got a really great deal other than the long time it took to deliver. For me the wait was worth it.

    I love this game! The mechanics are simple, but there are so many ways to build the engine. Love the art as well!

    It is so much more fun playing with the scoop rather than just taking six beans when you take the scoop action. We have gotten as many as 11 beans with the scoop.

    Love the game and thanks for the great video (even though you made a few rules mistakes).
    1) If a customer has a happy icon as reward (not musician action) it gets the token. You can't put it on someone else.
    2) You get a max of 4 action icons per barista. So it isn't about having four cards (as mentioned in the video) but the number of icons in the row (including the basic one).

    While lighter than most of my favorite games, I've loved how this game plays since I tried the prototype 3 years ago. I wasn't even all that interested in trying the game, a friend wanted to, and by the time we finished I couldn't wait ask if they were accepting late pledges.
    It's one of those games that marries the theme and mechanics together nearly perfectly, but while it's got a fair bit of random elements, there are some nice strategic elements. The deck building is the obvious focal point, but the engine building adds a layer on top of that, and the worker placement is very tight, resource management is very tight, adding more layers on top of that, giving it a pretty rewarding feel for what appears as a light game.
    The wait may have been absurdly long for the kickstarter, but the sheer content and quality of the components delivered along with a rock solid design more than makes up for it.

    In regard to the comment of Edward about this being a coffee shop, not a dessert shop, I have gone into Starbucks many times with my wife, who is the real coffee drinker in our family. For me, I am often just as interested in the pastries they have as I am in the choice of beverage. So I see it as being very thematic that way to have them not just want their coffee different ways, but also have different ones comes for snacks. By selecting pantry cards with different special resource icons on them, it’s as if you are diversifying your shop in what it offers to your customers. Because you are doing so, it’s easier to provide because thematically you’re making more of those items. So your cost goes down because of bulk purchasing and streamlined/faster baking preparation. So you may be really good at making donuts, and somebody comes in who wants a bagel or croissant, and that requires extra effort. As a result ,your cost is greater to provide that item until you specialize in it. The game really does drip with theme. Even each of the customer groups have thematic abilities. I love that aspect of it.

      You know what, Vaughn, that is a damn fine point you've made and I'm not a convert. Well said and point very well taken. Glad you enjoyed the show (and game)! Cheers.

    @1:08:35 is absolutely glorious.
    I think it's a nice game, could really have used a proper playeraid though, all that symbology can be hard to keep track off.
