I was about to order a foam nunchuck with a chord...Not with a steel chord. After listening to your advice that Chord is just strictly for KIDS ONLY... and ADULTS (like me) should go for steel chord one. Thank you for your advice...i was very very CONFUSE AT FIRST... what type of nunchuck is best for Beginners (Adult beginners)...NOT Kid Beginners. 😃👍
I think the best thing to do is to go for our hard rubber nunchaku, they are heavier than the foam but doesn't hurt as much as wood or metal if you make a mistake

couldn't a beginner just get the foam nunchaku with Cord and just add something to make them weighted
