I used one on an old bike I had and will be buying another. It works great and one flip of the thumb it's set and another flip it's off. Safety I say is spot on.

I’ve spent about an hour trying to adjust and find sweet spot throttle keeps sticking with it released. About ready to just burn whole bike to ground, even looks like we have same grips

Takes too much time to disengage it. After researching all my options, this seems like the one for me, so I am going to give it a try!
Thank you for your video. The directions do not say pull the screw out. It says Turn Harley Davidson thumb screw control all the way off. which is wrong! Your video shows the correct way. Again thank you.
As I said, no offence intended. You should like what you like. I, personally found your video interesting but to me the item just seemed bulky. I also thought that the throttle hung up on return, however you probably werent finished adjusting. Opinions are opinions, I didnt mean to offend you. Im glad it works well for you.
Not when adjusted correctly, you will have to play with it to hit that sweet spot. It is all about the correct alignment and the tightness of the band that holds the throttle. Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe.

I have used this throttle lock for over 100,000 miles and it works great. How long have you used the product?? What was your issue when you used it?? Did you install it properly?
I have ridden all over the country using this throttle lock and for less than $40.00 you can't beat it.

it can be a hassle give it a break and try later, also I left the top bolt between the brace and the throttle lock might try that

The throttle lock is good, BrakeAway cruise control is the same but it takes it a bit further with brake canceling cruise control

this is advertised as an HD throttle lock you have after market grips so what stops it from working on different makes of bikes
Nothing if it has the same setup, Momma had one on her honda and it was a totally different setup!! Just make sure it will fit your bike.

What if for some reason you can't flip that lock to unlock it? Is it possible to release it any other way in case?
In all these years never had that issue, but it doesn’t hold it that tight just turn the throttle back

What brand is this lock.
I have this same one, and the same grips. Mine slips. I've been debating getting pointed set screws that will bite into the grip.
Did you put the thin rubber piece between the grip and the throttle lock that came with the kit?
@@TheBadgers I did. I'm not sure if the ring is slipping on the grip, or the metal clamp is slipping on the ring. I need to investigate more

Those types of Cruise control are garbage and deadly, wrist rest are the best if you can’t afford the real thing.
