Okay. I would go with bolts thru the roof anyday over the nut plates. I did this job yesterday, and if I knew how easy it was to get under the roof of my truck with my hand it would have been done 3 hours earlier. Also, buy a lot of drill bits and step drill, like it's your job. Get a couple small diameter uni-bits to help Reem the holes. When drilling the extreme rear holes, the inner skin will separate if you use too big of a bit too fast. The front clips on the trim have a side lock that releases it from front windshield trim ends. Once released and pulled back a little, go the the back, push up on the trim to release, then slide to the rear all the way out. Get the nut plate tool if you really want to use them.
Do you have a vid or have anything for a drivers pillar grab handle. They have one for the passenger side. I don't know why Chevy didn't do one for the driver side for the trail boss. Hmmm.

This comment is for the 23 zr2. I don't think it would be different for other models.
Sick!
At 1:43 mark, you say you recommend using something. I didn't understand what you said. Will you clarify, please? Thank you.
Just before the 1:43 mark, Kevin mentions using anti-seize on the bolts going into the crossbars.

No. That is not something we have a video for.
What’s the point in ordering a sunroof then mounting this over it?
The sunroof remains fully functional with the roof rack installed.
