Is there a magnet on the wheel that the sensor is reading? I’m getting the same error. It happened after a wheel swap but I don’t see any magnet on the original wheel. Just wondering if maybe I’m missing something. Thanks!

Hi yes there is a magnet on the wheel in my Scott ransom it is on the brake disc close to where it bolts onto the wheel. Are you getting the fault straight away or after you have ridden it for a while.

@@jonathanryall355 It happens right away. That’s gotta be it. Any chance you could share a pic of your rotor and where the magnet is? I can’t find one anywhere in a google search.

If you scroll through the vidio to 23:34 and pause it you will see the magnet it is at the 3 o’clock position just up against the disc looks like a black circle

Hey, could you tell me what length of speed sensor I need for my Ransom eride size medium.

Hi sorry I can’t remember what the length of it was sorry I took it into a local bike shop(leisure lakes) and they matched it up and ordered it in for me. I’m sure it was less than £30
