    First off great video and whatever you are smoking you need to share lol. We need to work on your electrical lingo brother. It might be time for another jedi lesson grasshopper. Your inspirational speeches make me want to go back to college and be a research scientist and find the cure for Covid 19 !!!! Wait forget that I just like having a smile on my face after watching your videos. Since I'm the Godfather of electric I'm gonna make you an offer you can't refuse ..... I'll make you a wicked cool fixture ... aye. Do I sound like a Canadian Godfather? Keep em coming dude.

      If you’re painting the ceiling white, how about modern track lights along the beams, aimed up and a couple of floor lamps? No direct light. Bitchin!

    You know what would be super sleek? Is if you could put one of you cedar shingles on some small hinges and cut out an outlet behind it. So you’d have like a cedar flap that could hide the outlet and keep the cabin so clean. Could stain a little lightning bolt on it so you’d know which one had the power behind it. Lovin the build man, very inspirational. Keep gettin after it.

    thought i'd suggest a light on the outside of the door, in case you order pizza and someone knocks at the door but you can't smell pizza so you don't know if you should open it but you flick the light on and look through the peep hole and see that it in fact is the Danatoes pizza delivery guy!

    Since this is going to be your office, and you might like to keep the rustic open frame of your ceiling, I'm suggesting you go with track lighting that provides you with bright, efficient, 'professional home office studio feel' lighting. (My wife may have had a hand in this suggestion) 😁

  • @keithrt99
    @keithrt99 4 года назад +3

    9 outlets but how many circuits? You might consider wiring more than one circuit before you start drywall, If you ever want to run higher amp appliances without constantly tripping the breaker... add an AC or Heater and you're going to be pushing the limits very quickly. (I'm assuming thats the case here, sorry if you already addressed it and I missed it).
    Enjoying the Build!

    • @WoodnessGoodness
      @WoodnessGoodness  4 года назад +3

      Thanks for the tip! Yes I have three separate breakers for the inside. One for AC, one for plugs, one for lights, and an extra in case I split something up or run another circuit.

    Heh bud,could do off grid 12volt lighting charging system,solar panels on roof,wind turbine and battery bank....
    Get solar 100 l.e.d lights that are p.i.r on all four sides of cabin,go on when u need them alert you to wildlife or people walking about.....ebays great for all items,plus wiring up is really not hard.....look into solar set ups people done on cabins,vans,containers etc on you tube......

    If you’re not gonna put in central AC (I’m assuming you’ll put in some kind of heating system to keep the place warm in winter) I’d definitely recommend some kind of ceiling fan.

  • @joenorton9094
    @joenorton9094 4 года назад

    Yay yay. Looookkkin fiiiiya. If you’re feeling bold, run and paint some pipe for the lighting circuits. Then do some pendant lights hanging down. Just an idea
    Oh don’t forget to throw some staples on that romex. But no real need if it’s not getting inspected. Looks great as always, glad to see you getting some rightfully earned sponsorships. Yeaaaahhh budddy

  • @hoofington7866

    As far a lighting... How about crown molding that sits off the ceiling by 1in you can throw a set of rope/string LEDs in the channel and it will produce ambient light all the way around the room

  • @ShaneZettelmier

    Ugh. Be careful outside, this thing has to be waterproof. They sell exterior boxes that are about five dollars more $10 more for the nice metal ones and they flush mount and all you have to do is drill a little hole in the wall to run the cable through and then you caulk that and everything else just mounts on the outside and it’s completely waterproof and has a little door that flips open, It’s basically the same thing but the plug unit is a little thinner and it’s all incorporated into the exterior box part. You can also get a little larger size that we have multiple plugs in it and some also have lights and USB in them. I would go on the inside and the outside and caulk that exterior outlet to death.
    And I know it’s a stupid question did everybody asks but if you hit the test and reset on the GFCI?
    Screwdriver philosophy 😂😂👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

    • @WoodnessGoodness
      @WoodnessGoodness  4 года назад

      Yea I caulked it nice and good. I should of showed that but caulked it and tightened the outlet right to it.
