When Bruce said "Take your best shot, Tommy" that was badassery to me lol.. Followed by an WWE Tag-Team takedown move.
The greatest scene aside from burning the Joker
"Bruce, that's impossible."-Hush
Are we all going to ignore the fact that Batman just contacted Alfred in front of Mr. Fox's assistant? :P
SpideyAlex101 yea because the whole world already knows
The hologram is actually coming through Batman's eyes and it's invisible in front of everyone. Batman didn't reveal saying his identity, he said "he looks identical to Bruce Wayne" instead of saying "he looks identical to me".
Kaz Kobb that explains why his eyes turn white but people can still hear him though
@@angelrider1602 yup
Kaz Kobb what’s the point then when he can just ear-comms. That frees up his right arm for running and gliding
5:17 I love how he literally breaks the guys neck into the table and casually walks away like nothing happened
That shit was glorious😂😂
"just another day in gotham..."
Just enjoy the game

you'd think after studying and building an exact identicle bruce wayne face he'd notice how familar batmans mouth was. but no, apparently its "impossible"
Well, the man is a psychopath and in his mind Bruce Wayne never had to do anything to get everything, never had to fight for anything. So even if he thought Bruce might be Bats, to Hush the idea was so ludicrous that it wasn't worth even thinking about. Just like how Lex Luthor dismisses the idea of Superman being Bruce Wayne despite his own million dollar supercomputer telling him it was so.
I know this comment is 6 years old, but that’s literally exactly what I thought, that’s crazy 😂😂😂
Maybe the mask is tight around the mouth area so it pulls/pushes the skin around it to hide the shape slightly better
Like a Hollywood level face clip
@@JulesVonBasslake I thought Superman was Clark Kent.

Hush: My Face!
Batman: No, MY FACE!

Batman: now meet, MY DESK!
@@megas957 LOL
Two-Face: Whose face?
Batman: your fake im real
I love how Hush was hyped up in Arkham city for this.
All that time playing Hide and Seek with that bastard and this is how he loses...
My God. XD
Kinda like how they made Scarecrow a little bitch without his toxin in Arkham City, while in Arkham Knight he became a damn feared beast.
Julio Andrés Torres Corazón Scarecrow didn't appear in Arkham City. You just find his old Arkham Asylum mask next to a flock of crows on a rooftop as well as a fear gas test subject in a secret passageway under a boat in the Falcone shipping yard who screams when you get near him. I think you mean Arkham Asylum.
Xehanort10
Yes, I meant in the Asylum. Sorry.
TheHappy_P0tat0 I think the reason Hush went down so easily is because the shock of Bruce Wayne being Batman caught him off guard and allowed Batman to knock him out.
Xehanort10
Sure, and the fact that:
A) He was broke.
B) For all we know, Hush in the Arkhamverse has barely any physical training.
(Fox hits Hush with a bottle.) "My face!!!" (Batman slams him onto a desk so hard it breaks.) "My spine!!!
do you mean MY LEGS!
Probably both given the fact he just got chock slammed by a guy in power armour strong enough to knock a grown man into the air. :-) Don't mess with the Batman!
+Crazeenerd Batman should RKO in the WWE!
Something tells me the Dark Knights tactics may garner a disqualification even in WWE. Pretty sure they don't allow shoving peoples heads into fuse boxes or shooting them in the head with supposedly non lethal tank rounds. But then again it would be fun to watch someone try to send Batman off for an illegal move. :-)
+Crazeenerd **BAM! that's how azrael batman appears
5:16 I love how Batman just borderline kills this guy & casually walks off to have a casual conversation w/ lucious afterward “have you seen the news lately” lmaooo🤣
At this point batman is so done with criminals that he's like, "I still won't kill them, but I'm gonna make damn sure I hurt them."
@@solobro3263 I would love to see discussion between Batman and Spiderman about morality. Spiderman would probably argue with Batman that he's too violent, but after all Spiderman is very often violent too so...
@@solobro3263hush is definitely dead, wayne tech furnitures and fixtures for sure are crafted from redwood and that table shattered..

I love Conroy’s range. So talented in how he can switch characters.
I’m going to miss him. He’s my favorite voice actor.

That takedown at 5:16 was too epic.
Damn. At 5:18 Batman pulled a "Dudley Boyz" on Hush and slammed him through the fucking table.
TheNewLelouch17
Luscious: Batman!
Batman: What?
Luscious: Get the table!

Th3MaN1 Jim Ross: *MAH GAWD! THAT POOR TABLE HAD A FAMILY BACK AT HOME!*

straight up ragdolled this man
Does anyone feel this is a bit anti-climactic?
I really really hope that wasn't the last time we see him. You can't just build up a character and leave so much unanswered in one game and completely under deliver in the next. They really set him up in arkham city. But that's just me.
That's exactly how I felt. I was expecting a huge identity crisis but the ending of Arkham Knight kinda ruins it...
Think about it. He fixed up Scarecrow, he had FEAR GAS in his lair in City. Scarecrow is the one who gave him the name "Hush" in the comics. WHAT more do you need to work with there, Rocksteady? I'm sure EVERYONE was expecting Hush and Scarecrow to be in cahoots. They didn't once address that connection. This game DID do alot of things right but the what-should've-been's are so gear grinding. I personally think a Hush and Scarecrow story would've been the icing on this franchise. They tried to introduce a completely new character that was never talked about. He could've flown low until the final act and it could still work. They had SO much to work with here.
Eli Ring That's actually a good idea since Hush and Scarecrow were 2 of the 3 masterminds in the 2003 Hush comic storyline along with Riddler.
Daniel Medina This is Bruce face his old friend. Its suppose to be dramatic.
This mission is kind of silly when you complete it after you beat the main mission.
When he mentions how Thomas's face looks identical to Bruce Wayne's, he says it as if Bruce Wayne is someone else and he doesn't say "he looks identical to me". I love how that shows him always seeing himself as Batman first and Bruce Wayne second.
Well, in his case his first identity is Batman and Wayne is his alter ego, that's why I like him
I think it's more because a secretary was right there in front of him
@@ThreeEyedPea Yea you're probably right I forgot about that, also I didn't expect to see a 7 year old comment of mine to be commented on lol
@@JustKeepFlying I didn't actually realize this was a 7 year old comment tbh
@@ThreeEyedPea I think too he does it on the off chance his comms ever get tapped and people could listen to what he's saying. Batman's definitely paranoid enough to think ahead like that.

RIP Kevin Conroy
Credit where Credit is due, the start of this mission, the swerve that thinking Hush is Wayne was phenomenal. I legit 'marked out' when It became a camera. One of my favourite twists in a game.

Jacko Reaper Thats what I was thinking.
Press "triangle" to start and finish the boss battle.
Jacko Reaper 0 boss fights, only few in batmobile...
Jacko Reaper No boss fights, proffesor pyg is the closest you'll get. you fight deathstroke in a fucking tank

“My face”
Immediately breaks 10 different bones with that table slam😂
instead of going with scarecrow and the arkham knight as the main bad guys they could have done the hush story line and have him be the main bad guy and they could have have still implemented Jason Todd like in the actual hush story line and had a twist ending with him but instead hush's arc ended like this, very disappointing
5:16
Er... Yeah no... he's dead Bruce xD
5:16 Hush: My face.
5:18 Batman: No that's MY face.

James Butler 😂😂😂
When I did this mission Lucius and Bruce didn't say that about "there will be no more Batman"
I like how they changed up each conversation when you've done certain things in the main story or beat the main story all together.
If they took the effort to make Bruce look just like Ben Affleck, why not make Fox look like Morgan Freeman?
tltar253 They didn't try to make him look like Ben Affleck. Arkham's Batman looked like this long before Batman v Superman was even conceived. And besides, Morgan Freeman's Fox belonged to the Nolanverse so it wouldn't fit.
Kristopher Awojobi In City and Origins, Bruce doesnt look nothing like Affleck, here he has his exact face.
tltar253 The Knight model is an updated version of City's. It doesn't look like Affleck and I doubt it was their intention to make it look like him. Put their pictures side by side.
Kristopher Awojobi It looks EXACTLY like him.
Boy you be trippin , he looks nothing like Ben affleck
"Take your best shot, Tommy."
OH SHITTTTT
“Take your best shot, Tommy” was so badass. It perfectly portrays Batman’s confidence and competence in just a few words
All that build up for hush and this is what we get? I was so disappointed.
Might as well have not even been in the game. Bruce didn't even break a sweat
+Gamer's Little Playground I don't understand why they just didn't replace Laszlo Valentine with hush story line? he was basically doing the same thing hush did in arkham city.
That could be said with everything in Arkham Knight. Arkham City was such a great idea with perfect execution at every turn. Knight just pulled from an already existing story (Jason Todd), which plenty of people already knew about from the Red Hood movie, and just altered it a bit.
You guys seriously couldn't try anything else? Anything new? This is how you wanted to end such a great series?
+Christiania Eastman BATMAN. ARKHAM ORIGINS
Origins was a different developer. Still a crock of lukewarm shit, but wasn't Rocksteady's fault.
Batman’s desk is probably solid expensive mahogany. Yeah no Hush is crapping out his spine right now.
I'm I the only one impressed by Conroy's voice acting as Hush.
dude i met him in person, and it was one of the most epic experiences i'll ever have.
This is it? After all the buildup... this is how they end one of the best setups from Arkham City? This game seemed to love undermining what Arkham City set up. Hush, Croc, Ra's, Azrael, Harley, Ivy, Scarecrow... you know what, Scarecrow was one of the only good parts of this game.
Nonsensical Idiot Anti-climactic.
I thought Riddler was also one of the only good parts.
try hard fan The race car track?
megamovieman101 That and the Riddler trophies themselves. I enjoy all of the extra easter eggs and secrets they lead too.
try hard fan Lol I didn't like the race car track and thought it was just more of the Batmobile being shoved in the player's face, but the rest was good.
Why were people expecting a huge boss battle out of this? Hush isn't really a fighter. The only thing I can understand people complaining about on the boss battle side of things was the deathstroke boss battle because that was pretty lame. The boss battles in the arkham games have always been fairly simple and easy. I don't really care all that much that they aren't a big part in this game.
Reese R Yeah really. What were these people expecting? Most of the villains in the batman games aren't physically capable of going one on one with Batman. I mean they're not like Bane, Clayface, Solomon Grundy, Mr. Freeze, Killer Croc or Poison Ivy (Being able to summon giant freaking plants). Those are the Villains that can go on on one with good old Bats. We had a few Boss fights where we have to beat them up until they ran out of health, Which involved Albert King and The Riddler in his Mecha-suit. Now those are the boss fights that make sensee because they are bigger. Technically we had a similar one with the Arkham Knight when he tried to kill us with that giant drilling machine. So to me it made sense that enemies like Two-Face and Penguin would be taken down easily. Hush technically isn't 100% capable of lasting long in a fight with Batman but at least he would've held his own a little. Also Hush was kind of unintentionally helping Scarecrow and the Arkahm Knight, just use your imagination on that part. The final battle with Jason does make some sense, Because Batman tries to talk some sense into him and he did not want to hurt him, Because he pretty much see's him as a lost son. Deathstrokes boss battle definitely should've been done better, but i didn't really let it bother me. So in conclusion, The fights between the Most of the Villains make sense if think about their physique. The few boss battles where the enemies can actually fight batman can be justified if you think about it and use your imagination and Deathstrokes Boss battle....Yeah. :/ Sorry for this comment being so long and i may have made some writing errors in my comment. Anyway Overall Batman: Arkham Knight is still a freaking awesome game non the less. P.S. I think i may Play All of the Arkham games in the order of when they were released to see a difference in gameplay quality when it comes to the boss battles. I know that they are both similar and vastly different from one another in a way.
+The Samurai Cop Don't need a physical one to one. Maybe he controls traps like the riddler or has multiple villains working for him.

Thing about Arkham Knight that separates it from the others is Batman was not scared to reveal his identity he didn’t want that to stand in the way of him saving Gotham! He came with terms with it! It either was him defending the world or him protecting his true identity 💯

"Take your best shot, Tommy" Oh shit bruh.
Well. Yet another Anticlimactic POS ending to a character.
I extremely disagree.
Joshua Willis why?
Because this villain character wasn't a fighter and wasn't anything major either he had no help with him and he had a gun to hush so what was batman supposed to do? Let hush die? The ending for this character makes a lot of sense and was unexpected. I respect your opinion but not everything has to be one major fight.
Joshua Willis 4 years leading up to this have gone completely down the drain. Then again Rocksteady could never do boss-battles correctly.
Joshua Willis
Have you ever even read the comics? Hush is a very formidable adversary and deserved so much better than this.
I’m glad in Arkham Knight you finish off what you did with Hush from Arkham City
Lucius probably felt so proud that he was able to land a blow on his own captor and then Bruce had to just severely one-up him with an insane uppercut body slam into the desk combo.
5:14 Break and Slam! 5:18

Wow, that slam into the table was so violent. How does someone survive that? lol
Everyone in the arkham universe is superhuman in our world standards even the average joes are like peak human
I like how u can partially see scars on hush's face from Arkham city when he had pieces of skin sewn to his face and the healed finished product is shown with the slight scar tissue

I like how he uses Bruce Wayne's name to pretend he isn't him in front of the secretary while talking to Alfred, Wayne's butler, who's name he uses as if it is a common name, while discussing his relationship with the Hush who took his face as if the secretary can not hear this conversation and then the secretary just ignores the whole thing and he ends up showing Hush his face and then revealing that he everyone already knows so what WAS THE POINT!
Your comment and grammar makes no sense.
The point is that It's just a game you dang Muppet baby
SPOILER BELOW
During this he's shocked that Batman is Bruce Wayne and Batman chooses not to lock him in GCPD (presumably because he'd tell everyone his identity) so what happens if you play this mission after beating the game?
They would say the Hush case is over than bringing him to trial.
“My face!”
*gets obliterated*
How can you have such an iconic comic with a huge mystery and all this characters and twist just for him to simply walk in an office and get smashed in a table smh
Holy jesus RIP Hush
SilentTree batman: NO KILLING!
SilentTree he doesnt die....
Out of all the villains, Hush was the one I was most excited about. Not only did Batman had to deal with the "mysterious" Arkham Knight, but also had to deal with someone who was ruining Bruce Wayne's image. People in Arkham City even thought "Bruce Wayne" snapped, I would have loved if Gotham thought Bruce Wayne turned into a seriel killer... Rocksteady really dropped the ball here, so much potential. Smh. Looks to me they focused more on the Batmobile, than giving us a better portrayal of the villains, or his allies, and giving us some boss battles.
Only reason why I want this game to win GOTY is to have all the DLC's added in, similar to Arkham City, but I doubt it.
There's only a few meta-humans who can survive that kind of desk slam. Bats doesn't fuck around on his home turf.
Why was these series of games so damn good?
Insane !! I didn't knew this quest had special dialogues after you locked up scarecrow.
A nice detail i noticed was when you first enter the room and the cutscene plays, the camera looks through a chessboard. When Batman enters he passes through the knight piece and presumably in front of the king piece.
Very similar set up to the scene with Hush being the king since he's impersonating a billionaire in this case.
5:16 Elliot is dead. Either that or that table was poorly constructed as a stunt table

The intro of this video lasted longer than the Hush side mission.
The animation is outstanding, but when Batman talks, I found that his metal mask moves as well. The surgeon's business suit drapes like silk assuming that all clothing moves the same way. That's the only criticism I got. Other than that, the animation is paramount in video game history.
Will wait for the full movie. Already caught some of the Knight boss fight and well not who I was expcting... on an unrelated note is Hush in this, given how they implied he'd be back when you found him in Arkham City.
