This album was Trey's 'Get rich or die tryin'. The hunger, passion, lyrics, vocals were on point. Not saying Trey hasn't delivered quality music since, but if I had to choose a Trey album to keep for life. It would be this one, with Trey Day a close second.

I Gotta Make It is Trey Songz's best album because Trey was singing about different subject matters like From A Woman's Hand singing about black fathers absent from their sons life, Set Of Wings singing about his fallen friend Mr. Hill, Just Gotta Make It singing about getting out the hood and living a better life and he was also singing about relationships and love, after l Gotta Make It and Trey Day and and the death of the Cornrow Braids, Trey's music went downhill and he started singing all about Sex, l like the old Trey Songz's music better because he sings the soul from his heart.
