watching this brings back lots of memories of my solo travels.. . the cable cars to the top of the mountains behind innsbruck was fun . it goes up to 7,000 feet above the city.. there was snow at the top and only plus 5 degress, even in june 2016.. but 75 degrees which is 24 celcius and sunny in the city centre below.. great place to go , also vienna and salzburg are worth a visit..
Its a brilliant place to visit isn't it! We spent 24 hours in Vienna as a layover and enjoyed what we experienced, need to revisit and spend longer though - and also check out Salzburg! We've heard great things about it. Thanks for watching Brian! ☺️
This is a great video!! So pleased you got to meet Thomas, it’s moments like this that really do make your travels extra special & you both deserve them 😍. Looks a great city, looking forward to your next vid ❄️☃️🌨️🏔️😂
Oh we had the BEST morning and so unexpected! We felt very lucky to have met Thomas, he was the absolute best! Thanks for watching and for your lovely words of encouragement as always, Adz! 🤗
Gas stations are open on Sunday in Austria and they have many things supermarkets have, at least the bigger ones, just a tip. They are more expensive than a normal supermarket though.
Ha !! Think we stayed in the same place - just through the gates on the right - big ol’ apartment building - we were there for a day waiting for flights back to the UK when covid kicked off … just about got over the Brenner pass before they closed the border 😮 Innsbruck is a great place to chil and people watch …. Great vid too 👊
It was a toss up to me Ljubljana or Innsbruck .Austia is just as Beautiful ,also more lakes . But I must say Slovenia you feel more at home .Soca Vally ,Piran , Tolmin ,Lake Bohinj
@@KristyandSteve Retired American from Pennsylvania. Been to Europe 3 times now and will always go back . I`ve traveled by bicycle for a month each time seeing the country side at 10 mph .Propabaly 300 towns ,cites, villages .Slovenia and Croatia are my favorites out of 12 so far . Mostar in Bosnia and Kotor bay Montenegro were the big surprises .You take more photos in Switzerland, but feel like a tourist the whole time
Thats amazing, you must be super fit! What a great experience. Being from the US, you also have some brilliant, diverse places at your doorstep. The US itself is a real melting pot, we love it there ☺️
Definitely see your point. A lot of countries are like this (including Australia), very expensive to live but great for travel and tourism. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment ☺️
Innsbruck has 132 000 inhabitants and there are over 30 000 students! If you are sportive, it is a very good place to study. There are 13 skiing resorts around, reachable with public transport. The price fot the season ticket is like 3x skiing in the US.
im going to innsbruck 3rd November, i wonder if i might be able to see some ski jumps! thats so WOW!!
Oooh hopefully you do, it was the highlight of our Austria trip! Fingers crossed for you 🤞 -have a great time!

Both beautiful countries aren't they? Are you European / British? If so, you'd have these incredible places on your door step 🥰
