Love that. I bought one 20years ago, identical same colour, even the roof rack that had been brought over to the UK. Mine was ex Arizona, bleached and battered though. Loved it. Mine had the Olds engine. Wish I still had it.
Its really nice Good luck with it!! Ive owned 2 of them, If it has a "Y" in the vin # its a 307 V8,theyre a bit of a dog engine. Hopefully its the 305 Chevy V8. You cant beat the ride of these wagons
great car! I am now 16 and a few weeks ago my parents gave me my first car, a 84 caprice classic wagon. I've wanted a caprice since I was 10 haha and now I finally have one. the car is very neat and I am going to make an estate of it. so with the woodgrain and all the original options.
That would be the last car I would ever get rid of. My dream car for past thirty years, but still unattainable due to losing my driver's licence forever for being caught a homeless pedestrian with marijuana joint. So I can never travel to USA or drive again because the fine land of Finland is just so great in its policy for punishing people for a possession of 0.3g of marijuana for a lifetime.
Wow, that brings back memories. My first assigned patrol car was an 89 Caprice. Sedan, of course. Rumor has it, you can power brake those pretty well...or so I heard... 😇
@@Mclovingarage they were OK. Mostly just made noise. The 89’s were at least throttle body injection. Now the second car I had assigned was a LOT of fun. That was a 96 Caprice with the LT1 which I think was the same as the base Corvette motor. You could get either an LT1 or LS1 in the Vette. Those cars went through rear tires for some unexplained reason… Those had the digital speedo which I can confirm is a three digit display. (Saw 121 on the freeway enrt to a shooting call)
They’re the one I was thinking of. The 90’s Caprice everyone raved about being fast. Just make sure you had your seatbelt on cause you could slide across the vinyl seat when you went around corners. Haha
Women don't know what is good. If she doesn't respect the ride, let her walk. You live only once, never give in.
Wagons are sweet lol
Keep them alive. Tnx bro

They are such a great car. So much room, comfortable and pretty reasonably reliable. Thanks for checking out my video.

Just picked up this exact wagon with 25k miles yesterday. This thing is ridiculous.

I half expect to see Chevy Chase and Uncle Eddie get in and drive off.
We had the 82 version of that car
Looks pretty sharp. I'm a sucker for wagons and vans.
I really like this wagon. You just do not see them anymore. 😊
I have always loved wagons!!

Very cool 👍👍
Subscribed because oregon channel lol
It would be a very comfortable conception alcove...
It appears to be the 305 Chevrolet V8, which makes about 170 hp, as opposed to the 307 Oldsmobile V8 which makes about 140 to 145 hp. ;-)
That’s a 305 SBC
Olds 307 has the oil fill in front of the engine not the valve cover.
How much you give for it?
Do You Still Have It ????
No, I sold it to a family friend for his daughter. She loves it and drives it daily.
I'm looking for a sedan or a wagon,rather have a wagon
@@The_Hollywood_Mission the wagons are definitely cool. It was fun to own while I had it.
