Receiving Red Packet(s). no age limit. Those who are working and the parents are on their retirement. Pwede mga anak mag bigay Ang Pao to his/ her parents. "Ang Pao" for Fookienese and Hóngbāo 紅包 is Mandarin ). Not all red packets are the same, it depends on the wording(s) printed on the red Packet. Preferrable are the word(s) 福 fú= means blesing or abundance. and the other one is Happiness.

I've watched a lot of Korean vloggers that lived/still living in the Philippines and you are by far my favorite! I like your easy going attitude and you're just straight forward in your vlogs. it's refreshing because it doesn't feel forced or scripted. You're relatable. I can relate to you because I've also lived abroad since I was 6. Although I'm American, I didn't return to the US until I was 17 so the whole American culture is a bit foreign to me. I identify more with Asian cultures (I'm 1/4 pinay) since I've lived half of my life in Asia. Anyway, looking forward to watching more of your videos! New subscribers from NYC

Hi juwo…few days old palang ako sa channel mu. But parang matagal na kitang tropa hehe,siguro kasi sa galing mung mag tagalog,and pusong Pinoy na. I know running a channel are really difficult but kaya mu yan,we are here to support. I always visit Korea before pandemic. Pero lagi lng kmeng nasa myeondong. Sana gawa ka ng list to travel and visit jan sa Korea. Or tour mo kame haha,planning to visit in may. Yun lng cheers!

Thanks for sharing. I'm always interested on how different cultures celebrate certain holidays/festival. I feel like being you in a certain way where you're rediscovering your roots. Certain families living in a foreign country incorporates their traditions in to the local traditions. I wonder how you and your family had celebrated the Lunar New Year in the Philippines while you had lived there. Anyway, good content!

Filipinos also do that cha-rae but usually during the Holy Week or Lenten season, we put foods/drinks in the altar (yes usually the favorite ones) as we pray and remember the dead members of the family. As usual enjoyed your vlog, thank you and ingat!
Cha-rae for us is not celebrating during holy week. HOLY WEEK for us is for sins repentance and 1 day fasting. We celebrating Cha-rae it's on NOVEMBER 2.
@@glitzaustero3428 I think what he meant is the practice of putting foods in the altar as offerings and remembrance for the dead loved ones, it is done both during Holy Week and Araw ng mga patay November 1 or 2. But yes Filipinos don't do it in the same context as cha-rae of Koreans like a celebration for the coming new year.
