Nothing sad about it at all. I saw the band in their prime in the 60s and they were great. The band in this video is made up of incredible musicians and entertainers. Most of them have been together for many years. The band really kicked ass. Paul was a fantastic showman and a good guy. He is truly missed along with Drake and Smitty. Mark and Phil are still on this earth. This version of the band was worth seeing. They were entertaining and true to the music.
Was too young at the time to know what was going on, but 2013 flower power festival in Disney saw him preform one of his last concerts, just now realizing how much of an icon he really was
I'm just sorry I never took the time to see Paul when he was still active with the band.I always liked the Raiders.Would still go see their show now but they never play in my area.
The line up in this video is : Darren Dowler (lead vocals), Ron Foos (bass and a Raider since 1975), Doug Heath (guitar and a Raider since 1973), Danny Krause (keyboards and a Raider since 1978), and Tommy Scheckel (drums and yes, he is awesome).
PAUL REVERE, ON KEYBOARDS, MARK LINDSAY LEAD VOCALS, Fang on Bass,Guitar Drake Levin or Jim (Harpo)Valley on the Lead Guitars and Smitty on the drums. That's the classic line up for Paul Revere and the Raiders.
What happened to music? Everything today is so unhappy and dark. Maybe rock n roll needs to go back to feeling good and showing it. Happy always works with me and I bet with others too! Life is short...smile and be thankful for the youthful times. Feel good music rules Daddio!
Time takes its toll on our music. Nevertheless the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra journeys on. Fellow retirees: we must learn it’s left to others to continue the music. Just do the math. Our bands are down to one, two, or zero original members. Now it’s who owns the name and:or tribute bands. Imposters is another story. Peace.
Mark hasn't been with the Raiders for years. Their singer now is Darren Dowler. He's sung with The Righteous Brothers, Fifth Dimension, The Jordanaires, The Beach Boys, and many others. He was the original lead guitarist for The Backstreet Boys, and was inducted into The Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004. Blows Lindsay off the stage, imho!
Your opinion only, millions would say Mark Lindsay was the heart and soul of the Raiders and Paul was a true showman. Great garage band that belongs in the HoF. But HoF is a click. The Raiders had away of making you feel good and proud to be a young rock and roller American.
You must be on Crystal Meth. MARK Lane you must be on Crack or Crystal Meth. Mark Lindsay is the best LEAD SINGER for Paul Revere and the Raiders bar NONE.
Is it just me, or do the Raider's uniforms look more like "Redcoats" than Colonials? The REAL colonial uniforms seldom, (if ever) looked alike anyway, Ha! We were more concerned with "Firing", than "Attiring", Lol!
Uncle Paul is the soul of the band, still can't get used to past tense.Loved seeing all the guys through the years. Rock on .
It's sad what became of this once great band. When Drake, Fang, and Smitty departed, the Raiders never would repeat the glory days.

They were a top show in El Dorado, Arkansas in the late 60’s. Everyone loved them, their music is great.
Fabulous ride back into history. Hope we see Paul and the Gang in the the new Kingdom
Only if you pay a stiff entrance fee and be relative free of sin....
@@PAULLONDEN None of us is free from sin
Oh How I wish I could have seen one of those shows., RIP Paul!

I saw these guys in Florida and my hometown in Cali. I was 12 then and I'm 25 now. They look exactly the same lol
I have many good memories of Paul Revere and the Raiders. Epcot should invite the Raiders back to the garden rocks concert series.
I was at this concert.
If I recall they haven't all gotten together since 1989 on a Wolfman Jack special. Videos on RUclips
No, continually working up till Paul's death in 2014.
Saw the main lineup in '66. I saw EVERYBODY in '66.
Paul sounds like Jim Dandy of Black Oak Arkansas here !
RIP,PAUL REVERE :-( 10-7-14 MADE PUBLIC

Carlo was the best singer
Mark Lindsay is the best LEAD SINGER for Paul Revere and the Raiders
@@williebowen1043 your opinion
Mark Lindsay is the best LEAD SINGER for Paul Revere and the Raiders bar NONE.
@@adrianmixit1998 How many hit songs Carlo recorded with Paul Revere and the Raiders?
@@williebowen1043 give it a rest.
This is ok, but not Mark Lindsay singing lead vocals!
I agree
Mark quit 45 years ago.

not even close.. the Raiders are nothing without Lindsay
You have to look at Mark Linsey of the raiders that’s a separate video

OMG, this is a complete embarrassment.
this band is no more
Paul Revere's son has revived the Raiders. BILL MEDLEY FROM THE RIGHTEOUS BROTHERS SON IS THE LEAD SINGER.
Sadly, yes. They tried to continue without Paul but it didn't work.
