We saw Paul Revere and the Raiders @ Hot August Nights Reno, NV just after Paul had finished his "Ride to the Wall" commemorative album. Paul would lead a large group of Veterans and fellow motorcycle riders to the Viet Nam Wall in Washington, D.C. for years. These songs were from the Viet Nam era; before PR & R started playing that night, Paul recognized ALL of the Military Veterans in the crowd. Throughout the night, PR & R covered the entire Ride to the Wall album bringing tears to many of those in attendance. And yes, he also carried on his usual slapstick humor as you see here.
Paul Revere is the only real Raider there. So I would not consider them “still being around after all these years”. All the other guys are guys he hired after they had hits and got family. Drake Levin, Phil Volk, Mike Smith and Mark Lindsay, even Drakes replacement Jim Valley had quit the bands many, many, MANY years before this. They just got to use the name like many oldies groups, many with none of the original members. Not the real groups in my opinion.
@@cababyboomerq6012 Doug, Ron, Danny, Omar & Carlo were the BEST . They wete fine without Mark Lindsay all other lead singers were fine with Carlo Driggs #1 & #2 Darrin Dowler & #3 Darrin Medley
@@marke891 I disagree. At some point they just become a cover band. If they didn’t have Revere they would be a tribute band. It’s not just the music, it’s the people we shared this time period with.
Bernd Birkenkaemper hello from Dallas Texas the center of a hip universe. Darrin medley is Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers son. His father was a good friend of Paul Revere and was one of the investors in Paul Revere's night club in Reno kicks. Darren's mother was murdered back in 1976 and due to DNA within the last several years they were able to find out who the culprit was. The perpetrator was a man who died trying to escape from jail in 1982. I am sure the medleys were finally relieved to learn who murdered her and that he is no longer on Earth
I love your music even since the 1960’s. You still sounds great too

Paul Revere is 75 years old and easily the funniest musician I've ever seen on a stage live.
I always loved Paul Revere and the Raiders!
Miss Paul Revere!!! But his raiders are still rockin & rollin!! ✌️❤️👍
We were at that concert in 2012 at the CNE - it was fantastic!
I love that these guys are still alive and "kick"ing even at 70 years of age!

Love you❤️❤️❤️❤️
Funny and love you all❤️💕
SHOUT OUT TO MY MAN TOMMY. Where ever you are. From the the 'TATERS
Nobody tops Mark Lindsay, not even close
I agree Mark was a true front man and could sing and new how to talk the crowd.
None of the original members except Paul Revere, and he's passed away now.
40 years
I want that bass!
I remember Kicks being about that only anti-drug song back then .
Stomp and shout work it on out!
As good or better than the original!
They got a Great Drummer tho
Choreography is rough on knee replacements.
Darrin Medley is the worst singer they ever had. I hope he doesn´t rejoin permanently.

He’s a crooner.
the lead singer doesn't have a lot of charisma, but wow he can sing
Does that kid really need those huge ear muffs? Give me a break
Lol
Just a pathetic oldies show, like The Who are now. Really sad. Just listen to the old records when they were really young and HUNGRY. This is crap.
