I like the transition from farming sim 22 to 25! :D That's a really fun idea :3 The game looks great, love how you destroyed the roadsign on the first field, that's 100% what I would do xD And the ferry is so fun! 😍

I was considering that map for my from scratch, and that field too! Ultimately changed my mind to the Asia map though, looked more challenging for lumber. Looks like Giants are releasing more machinery via the mods (downloadable content menu). Also, one hint/tip. There's a cheap trailer in the miscellaneous miscellaneous section (yes, the double misc is intentional). For towbar rather than pin, but it'll fit on the JD. Not the best capacity, but the sides can drop down, including loading ramps. (wouldn't normally drop a hint so quickly, but it's so hidden away, it's very easily missed)

The features that you listed are the same ones that drew me to it. Good location, good shape, already grass and affordable. Ultimately, second farm will be on that map, probably start with that field, but that is and age away, so I'm looking forward to see what you go with. Yeah, it's a car trailer, just not listed with the cars, so I missed it for quite some time (about 20 hours of gameplay). Very useful little thing.
Well, so much to comment on. First, you can't beat a babbling brook. Second, have you ever considered grinding your coffee by hand? Third, I see you went with the baler For A Few Dollars More. 😉
Hmm...some thoughts. They made a lot of great updates from FS22. Main Pros for me so far would be the GPS/Steering assist, the dynamic pastures (you create your own size/shaped field and the number of animals it hold changes accordingly, changes to productions (cheaper slower ones were introduced, and the bigger faster ones are more expensive...gives you a good goal to work for). Cons so far are: the chainsaw targeting to trim off branches is still difficult, branched trees (oaks, elms, etc.) still too frequently have invisible collisions making them tough to handle, here in this initial FS25 release the selection of equipment is limited, satisfactory, but limited in some categories (e.g., there's only 1 lime spreader, 1 grass roller) - I assume to allow quarterly DLC drops. Overall, I'm loving it!! It'll get some patches, updates, and tweaks, so I'm not too focused on the nuances, just the main gameplay, and they game me a couple of my most wanted game mechanics.
This is a reported bug/exploit that may be fixed soon. It only happens when you stay on the repair window - closing and immediately reopening the window provides a lower more appropriate amount that is not above the used sale price. With this being a hard mode survival challenge, I'd have to avoid such things - gotta' make a 'real' playthrough ya' know! :D
@scottchristie7945 - You've almost got it! :) The game let you take out loans (and repay loans) in 5000 increments. All you need to do is click the button more than once (e.g., 3 times to get 15,000).

The chainsaw, while quirky, is at least consistent. You can learn it and get reliable performance from it.

How do I borrow more money? It just says borrow 5000 on ps5! Don’t see a way to change it higher?? Thanks
