maximize housing by doubled rooms and items. the bonus will be less for the second rooms and items but it gives a decent boost extra. My main aproach is do build a skyscraper, 8 levels, and 9 claims in size. 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 2 bed rooms and 2 baths, each level is 1 room and they are 4 blocks high. in the end the building will be 40 block tall and 15 by 15 blocks area. When you get tier 2 building blocks you can even create a stairway from the bottom to the top that looks like you are just walking in a spiral. With Tier 1 i prefer to use ladders in the corners.
I am not the biggest fan of the skyscraper approach. I get that its practical and works well but I just hate the way it looks. Keep an eye out for a new video about renting in ECO that shows off a hotel complex that I made. It took way too much time and too many resources to build but looked significantly nicer than the skyscraper approach. I am loving the player tips by the way. Keep them coming!
