Ingredients required :
Cashew - 200 gm
Sugar - 100 gm
Water - 100 ml
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Elaichi powder - 1 tsp
Silver varak for garnishing
Step By Step Recipe :
Take cashews in grinding jar and make fine powder. You may sieve the powder to ensure fineness. Keep the powder aside for later use.
Take water and sugar in a microwave safe bowl and microwave at 540 Watts for 4-5 minutes till sugar dissolves. Stir once in 2 minutes.
To this sugar syrup, add cashew powder prepared in first step and mix well. Microwave at 540 Watts for 4 minutes. Remember to stir once.
Now add ghee and cardamom powder, mix well and microwave for another 4 minutes at 540 Watts.
Now transfer the dough on flat surface lined with butter paper and ghee. Spread well as shown, try to form a rectangular shape using spatula.
Allow it to set in refrigerator for about 15 minutes. Then apply silver varak and cut into diamond shape of equal sizes.
