This must be the first tutorial on how to use Alcantara on non flat prices. Thank you for your time and expertise in sharing this hard to learn skill. Outstanding and one a new subscriber.
Looking forward to them and from an influencer in the Uk for once. You gave me the confidence to give leather a try on the top of my Transporter door card. Thank you
You forgot the large group of people who have no interest in actually going the upholstery, and just love all things cars. Need a gratuitous amount of sexy shots of the finished product! More!!!!
Ah yes, you're right. The craft fans. Another deserving group. You'll like all my ASMR videos then. Lots of visual niceties. Plus lots more coming on this car as I get towards the end of the overhaul, so definitely keep an eye out for those :D
a good teacher makes things look easy, until the pupil realises he needs still some practice ! your work is so satisfying, perfect teaching, I hope you don't stop with the Nissn project but continue also on other cars ! how much years of experience do you have under the belt ? and yes, 10" should be very good, even in black color ..... we are talking about scissors, right ? 🤣👍😎
Hahah. Yup, scissors. Obviously. I actually have about 18 months experience working on car stuff like this, but 10 years making clothes and costumes professionally and a LOT of the skills transfer over.
Could you just put the fabric over tought and then work out from the centre of the corner also how would you go about doing an x3 dash on an 06 plate just with it having the spongey elephant print cover on it
There's loads of valid ways to find a seam, sure. The best solution often depends on the piece you're working on. Not sure about your specific problem. I'll try and find some time to look into the X3 and get back to you

Appreciated, and nice to fill a gap. I have two more coming pretty soon for other methods too, so hopefully they'll be helpful too.

Would've loved to see more shots of the finished panel before it was placed on the car
Noted for the future
