perfect explanation you've made in only 10 minutes
    pure essentials
    Lack of sleep,
    Bad diet,
    Sensory engagement,
    Social media participation,
    Thinking procrastination
I always refer all these as energy leaks
On the other hand if you just say "energy discharge"
That wouldn't mean anything for the people
So you did it perfectly by mapping all these activities that drain our energy
So really very good point to put attention on the intensity.
Thanks for all your videos you make :)
That's why I never miss any of your videos, on the other hand instead of keep my astonishment, better put myself together
    Thank you :)

Thank you Ben, for clarifying my concerns. I have found that 6 days a week i am eager to get out of bed early & meditate. Around the 7th day my body just wants to stay in bed & sleep. What i am finding is the next morning i go much deeper into meditation. I always try to listen to my body, just sometimes wonder if it is my ego talking.

The interconnectedness of everything and the occurrence of synchronicity are very interesting. Perhaps it is less about physical things like food and more about mindset and a general state of happiness and fulfillment with one's life and endeavors. Time is a valuable aspect of the human experience, and I agree with Ben that quality over quantity is the way to go. Align yourself and surrender!

      Perfect statement,
I know what you mean by saying "The interconnectedness of everything and the occurrence of synchronicity are very interesting"
I've had many times being in that state, for large periods in my life, and the one thing that I'd strongly relate is the "energy you have", somehow it should be aligned and ego surrender. Also there should be a strong inspiration of some sort. Those are the most magical periods I've had

Meditating 5-8h a day since 2 weeks. Its interesting... if you really wanna exit this game, you sit in silence. If you want to be entertained, you watch RUclips videos about meditation. :D theres so much information in the silence and its like its another "me" in waking life. The vibrational difference is not really comprehendable by the human mind. Right now, it seems im getting feeded with high vibrations, so my body gets used to it... which in the beginning ended with a crash afterwards but reflecting on it helps. I wonder, how much "love" my body can hold... guess ill find out.

    An issue I observe
People's mind is like a mad monkey
    The reason why
We have to interact with the dynamic and very complicated reality today
    If you bring awareness
And somehow succeed to ignore the ego, that all tries is to engage in action
We search engagement with external world
Because we fear we cannot control it anymore
During dynamic and very uncertain times
    That makes us fear
    Fear for survival
Survival agenda dictaтеd by the surrounding social media
That is not a human communication
Rather exchange of idealistic stances on each of us, communicating via this media, trуing to recognize each other as entities
    Just to communicate
    To share
    The way out is meditation
    To find your stable point
    And to fix yourself there
The issue is that once you reached such vistas, your comfort doesn't matter anymore
You want to share your glimpses with others
And to see the smile on their face

I’ve just finished a 20 minute meditation, managed to enter a quiet mind, focusing on the tick tock of the clock. Eyes closed…within a few minutes lots of smoke like shapes on an indigo background followed by what I can only describe as a kaleidoscope of activity. Wow that was intense for me. I don’t meditate everyday and first time in a while I’ve practiced for longer than 15 minutes. Such a strange experience, so much so that I need to check my eyes are closed 😊
Is this the start of moving on to more spiritual/profound experiences? Or is this something else?

    @p14men 8 дней назад

    Let me correct myself
Many times I preach keep your energy
But if you just pump the energy in
It happens that keeping with the strongest will
You'll become rather nervous and energetic, hyperactive
Because you become unaware of your own energy by ignoring it
Your will suppresses your awareness for the energy, in order to contain it
    You become dull
On the other hand it might happen that
reaching certain level of "energized yourself"
You'll stop eating, since no energy spent
Basically got in a plateau with no further advancement
If you somehow maintain awareness while charging
Then becomes very tricky play-field for the ego to emerge
And dress you in exclusive roles to shine
Then you need to focus your awareness
Into some small point ignoring everything around you
cutting the strings with the world
    Your ego loses control
Being isolated from the outside world
    Entering the tunnel
    Surrounded by the doubts
Dedicated to the oath you've promised to yourself
    To reach the deep
    How deep is that promise?
To the bottom of your heart
    If then you'll make it
    You will know
You'd like to share what's waiting there

Potentially dumb question over here. But what do you mean by "depth" of meditation? It's always hard for me to really get what people mean because I attribute that word with being deep in thought and meditation makes my thoughts more shallow... if that makes sense... can't even articulate it

    • @craftedforgaming
      @craftedforgaming 8 дней назад +1

Hello, let me try and clarify for you if Ben doesn't get to this.
Let's model our inner environment as a body of water. For the average person, beneath the surface, there are very strong currents of thoughts and emotions and whatever else. This presents anything, in this case, your consciousness, from sinking below the thoughts and other junk of the mind.
Through meditation, we can calm those currents and still them which lets you sink below the clutter and reach the still, deep parts of your self.
What does this feel like? Typically, you feel greater stillness of mind, perhaps it is accompanied with your eternal senses receding. In any case, when you get there, depth will make sense to you.

    • @amy-lyne

      @bensmithreal  8 дней назад +5

Like all these things, there’s evidence both ways. I personally feel better veggie. It’s not for everyone, but I feel most would benefit from at least reducing meat

    • @p14men
      @p14men 8 дней назад +6

All depends on how you spend your energy
If I eat veggie, then I'm very light, flexible and agile
If I eat carnivore, then have stamina and endurance
All depends on how you position yourself in the world and what play you participate in.
Both have pros and cons, while unaware
Both can be equally sufficient, as far as you know your body
Most importantly to notice, it is not about the "gene" or "body type", rather awareness of your own energy consumption, and how with low energy to achieve more, and how to maintain your balance
All is about your awareness and knowing yourself
A great example - imagine how powerful and masculine, and full of testosterone the Bull is, being on a veggie diet

What is your source for the statement that you made about meat being "heavy" and "hard to digest". You said "some people even say and I would probably agree" about this. So, is that your opinion? Who are the "some people"? I am dismayed by the nonchalance of your comment when you are not a nutritionist nor a doctor. You also don't state your sources and what makes you believe these things about meat. Do you eat meat? Do you find it's hard to digest? I eat meat and don't have any problem digesting it. Or are you following the religious diet of Vegetarianism or Veganism which was invented by the Latter Day Saints to quell sexual pleasures? Ancient man ate meat. I can quote all my sources but RUclips censors them. I will try to give you 1: K e n B err y, em dee

    • @bensmithreal
      @bensmithreal  8 дней назад +1

My sources are based on my own experience as a vegan (I don’t promote veganism, but my body preferred that specific diet). I was Veggie for 7/8 year whilst racing as at an elite level of triathlon. My performances had never been better. Also, virtually every great saint & sage of the past has promoted vegetarianism. The expansion in consciousness often directs people that way. As humans evolve, so do their eating habits. This is my view. I’m sure there are plenty of people who’s bodies are better suited to a meat eating diet, but I do think overall, most would benefit from going veggie. I certainly did

@@bensmithreal Thank you for your response and revealing your source. Nothing beats first-hand experience. And you prove that not all diets suit all people. Experiment with yourself is my call
But not experiment by putting different foods in your mouth, that will surely got you ill
Start experiment with you yourself on your own awareness.
Become aware when you yourself craving different foods, and how does that relate to your own moods you've experienced recently
An example: Yesterday I was told my position in the company is under risk of lay offs, then at lunch time my stomach was hard as rock, refusing any food
      Is that mambo jumbo?
No, it is the blockage of not knowing what to do next. How to spend energy next.
These are your own internal feelings and your participation and position in the complicated world we live in. And how we interact in our play.
Once becoming more and more aware of your own thoughts, you will notice more and more your own cravings for specific food are related to your external relationships with the outside reality.
      All of us have awareness
That awareness resides in different so called "chakras"
Of course if you reside in the lowest chakras you will have strong need for meat, you will feel that the meat is the best food for you, so you are correct. If you lit the lower chakras, and persistently dwell, your body will need big amount of certain amino-acids and proteins, which can directly fuel your greedy lower chakras consumption.
The body has evolved in the millennials by eating different kind of foods including meat.
It is not wrong to eat meat
It is wrong to be unaware of yourself arguing that the worlds is different for all of us
Yes it is different for the blind one
And it is equal for the aware one
      Work on your awareness
      Nothing is rejected
All is the play and the happiness to know it all

Intensity, output, outcomes ? Be wary of the advice you follow people. The is the antithesis of meditation. Mindfulness & Equanimity are independent of conditions. Also chasing peak experiences, signs and wonders is a trap. This person shows me they have a very surface level understanding of meditation. I even looked at him and thought what will this kid share with me that would be of value. What a disappointment.

Take everything taught as a partial truth, or as a superposition of true and not true - basically, keep an open mind. If you feel you need meat to be healthy, keep eating meat. I started feeling that meat was suddenly hard to digest for me a couple months, did vegan (although risky nutrition-wise) up until a couple days ago. I'm able to eat meat just fine now, so I continued with it because of my own financial restrictions. Do what's right for you. No one should be judging anyone for any diet. At the highest level of awareness, there is an understanding that no one diet is more "ethical" than another lol.
