Might be late, but I'll chip in : the bugged items came to exist because some bosses from earlier were bugged, and what happened was stats from two or more items were mashed together. It's how Tal's armor got the bonus to skills (from Arkaine's I think...?).
@9:54, that Fanged Knife would've been highly sought after by a fury druid pvper, their shifted attack speed only came from their weapon, so rare phase blades/conquest swords/fanged knives, or a solid gris caddy or FFK held up well. So much nostalgia playing D2:LOD before 1.10 came out, I miss it!
The 'coolest' item for me personally is an upped Guardian Angel. It feels so nice to push your resists to 95% all (except poison) then leeching off elemental damage with tgod's, raven frost, and the fire absorb ring.
Yes, its a pretty sweet mechanic. I attempt to do that a bit in my hammer paladin guide, which triggered soo many, but I still feel like its the best set-up I had :)
This was a pretty coherent video, it's obvious that you put some time in making a script for it. I hope that you will continue to put content of the same and better quality in the future.

yup, some of the items you can find via google is stupidly OP. Its both a good thing and a bad thing for the game, but I think we all know its more a bad thing than a good to be honest.

I played back then and there was a bugged occy ring and sorcs would just use waves of that shock and everything would fall over. If u happen to get into a leveling run with them it was good times lol
Cruel Collossus Blade of the quickness 6 socket ethereal with the all Ohm's and a zod back then was wild since the 15ias/ed jewels weren't there yet. Most were duped so u didn't go into pvp games with them if u had one simply cuz u didn't want to take a chance.
There's no duping but if you get a super expensive item a mirror you can make a copy of an item so people who own these god items can make copies for a price
Djuntas what I mean is that all the best items in classic are these kinds of crazy unlikely 1 of a kind affix combinations. That’s what ruined LOD for me was that the best items were standardized.

I found black +3 to blessed hammer 3 sockets once, very rare drop but I didnt maxed out the char because has no time to do it as always ^^

If you like these kinds of items so much then why do you play LOD? Classic is all about these kind of items... that's why I play it.
The items can drop in LOD as well, and probably have a higher chance too on some things? But yes, they are more...useful in classic.
