Well done. Also, Am I the only one who's noticed that in a fight, older characters almost always have more Aura? Notwithstanding overall experience, Ironwood had had his Aura broken among other things, yet seemed to have more "durability" left than Winter in their 1v1.

As far as aura, I'd like to think that there is a logical explanation to your question. However, there really isn't any kind of "power scaling" system in RWBY. Characters abilities are dictated by what the outcome of the fight needs to be. To be clear, I don't say that to insult the show, or its creators, as it doesn't take away from my enjoyment of the show. But for people that prefer RUBY's aura/semblance system to be more quantifiable/make logical sense, there isn't really a good answer.

@@tromboneking87 I assumed that there is a logical explanation, i.e. you accumulate more/stronger Aura as you age, either naturally or by training.

Ironwood was being hit by five opponents at once when he had his aura broken in "Creation", and with Watts, he was being hit by blows from Amity Arena's biome system in addition to Dust rounds. However, as far as your noting that older characters tend to have more Aura, I think you're correct; it probably strengthens with experience, same as a Semblance (which is of course powered by Aura...)
