Hi I have a question on the needle what is the difference between size G USA and g/6-4.25mm
Could you use double crochet instead of the single crochet with the same multiple chains (11+2)
I’m assuming thst double crochets will work as well.

One thing…2 OR 3 TOGETHER is an actual stitch and looks like this… 2TOG, or 3TOG. Neither means thst you put 2 or 4 stitches into the same stitch, They are a way to decrease stitches. This is not meant as a criticism..,but an instruction in terminology…,I thought yiu did a very good jib of telling..and showing us what tomdol.
I did try it in DC, and whu-Ike thevredult wasvOK, thecSC version…whstbyiubtaught..was a little better… Thsnks.. I have put this pattern in mybgike if Chevron patterns..
