Going on a year with my '17 q50rs its a great daily i said i would only do intakes, dp and call it a day..fbo later i realized how fast these car get heat soaked in the summer, intake and dp is plenty fast and fun also you're going to need some grippy tires as 1st and 2nd car easily breaks traction (q50rs itakes & dp no tune). I dont recommend to modify specially on jb4 '19 - '21 as nissan Made some weird revision to those year ecu causing the injectors and fuel pump to malfunction aka blown turbos also a pain to tune discussing with Jb4, racebox and other great tuners know this very well. Currently waiting for winter to dyno tune the car on racebox sense these cars worst nightmare is heat, otherwise comfortable, fast, looks amazing, and fuel efficient (on eco mode only lol). Bottom line if you are going for a q50 3.0 and have the money go for the red sport you will benefit from the extras like cooling, better breaks and turbo sensors that the normal S does not include. Also very important in discussions with racebox run a slightly thicker oil on summer (10w30) and thinner oil on winter (0w20) oil viscosity is very important with these turbo engines sense they fluctuate temperatures very quickly. Both booszilla 1000hp q50 and Marvin's 700whp daily runs same oil patterns throughout the seasons.
my engine is powerful in my 14’ 3.5L n/a taurus but the tranny is the same way. 5.3 0-60 stock on e85 fuel (it’s a flex fuel) The delay is annoying. Serviced any and everything possible. The sho and q50 are on my mind i think i will opt the q50 for the tow capacity and interior. Had an 09 g37x and 08 g35x glad to hear they have continued their legacy and don’t disappoint , probably going to buy a 3.7L 16’
@Bryan Rutkowski only had it for 2 weeks, it’s a cpo 60k miles 2020. Got tints, full chrome delete, spoiler. Within now and April, I’ll have jb4 (because I got warranty), ams ldp, ams cold air intakes, ams heat exch, and ark cat back exhaust. Should be good for a daily. 400-450hp.
Just got a 15 Q50 3.7 a few days ago and that thing is a beast. I opted for the bigger engine instead of the turbo since it would be more reliable. Personally, I think bang for buck, if your looking for luxury while getting a tuner feel, Infiniti has always been one of the best options.
Got my ‘16 Red Sport in June and I truly love it! Its a perfect mix of sport and luxury to make daily driving a fun experience rather than a chore. I love the fact it has so much potential in the aftermarket s as well! I always recommend one to people looking for a quick, luxurious, and fun daily🔥
I have a 2019 sport Q50, im loving it. The car is a baby GTR, the visual of the car is timeless. Came out in like 2014? And still holds up today in terms of looks for me. Great video btw!
I got a 2021 q60 3.0t sensory best car I’ve owned it’s been to Texas to Alabama a couple times I do regular maintenance my self I wouldn’t lower my daily driver tho lol
Personally I say awd cause you can drive it in rain snow clear weather it don’t matter and you just have better grip in general. Only advantage you get from rear wheel is the ability to slide the car easier but you can drift AWD too if you really wanted to 😅
Yeah for the most part, again high way it does pretty good on gas but not to great if your not in the highway. About as good as any V6 🤷🏽♂️. But it’s comfortable and has plenty of room

Honestly been stuck between a Honda accord 2.0t and a q50S 3.0t and being a car enthusiast, I think I'll go with the q50.
@Bryan Rutkowski I got a q, but the accord 2.0t are SLEEPERS I test drove one. But the CVT 1.5t accords are indeed gay lmao

@@Oo-Shiesty how much did you buy the Q for?
i been trying to decide that too has your opinion changed after owning the q50 for a minute now

Glad to hear it and I agree!!
Also thank you! 🙌
Are they reliable?
@zuriiiii77 so far it has been, i do spirited diving and do the usual maintenance on my car 👍
You should look into an apple car play kit for the infotainment. Waaaaay better than the stock nav and afforadable.
Great video brother 🫡! I have a 2014 q50 AWD 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks I appreciate it! And awesome! 🤙🏽

Nice! 🤙🏽
One of my favorite make!!! And a tune will help with all the transmission/ power issues 😏😏
A tune will help with the transmission issues? 😳 good to know haha thanks! 🤙🏽
Yes this is true. Since I've been tuned
will it have an effect on the fuel economy?
I'd recommend a trans cooler and diff brace as well you won't regret it😁
@@Oo-Shiesty no I got better mpg in 91 while tuned
I’m torn between trading in my manual g37 coupe sport and getting one of these but damnnn I’d miss my stick shift 😭
Yeah the lack of a standard does suck. But personally I like the Q50s more. G37s are still nice tho!
Are the 3.0t awd?
They should have a AWD and RWD option
Which is better AWD or RWD ?

Yes
so would you say this is a good car for decent road trips in state?
