@FlaskFlash so essentially once you get the egg confirmed shiny you do a completely new seed to go for the ivs. It's a bit tricky to figure out the first time but once it clicks it's not too hard. Took me way longer than it should've to figure out haha
So I figured out how to make this work in Pokefinder 4.1.2 (and later). You basically do it like Blisy does it in this video. You find your shiny/nature/ability first by searching for a seed in the Egg searcher tab. Make sure you put the Held advances both at 0 (min 0 Max 0) and IV's at random or 0/31 in all stats. Held advances are always 0. Search for a Pokemon (Iv's don't matter right now), then once you have your seed, run around until you have an egg, then save your game at the daycare man. Once you confirm you have your Egg, then you can go search for a seed for your IV's (Pickup Advances). Search for a good IV set and then find your seed. Obtain the seed and then go to the generator tab, input the seed and then advance the chatot timers like you would normally. I hope this clears things up a bit.
I don’t know if you still respond on this video, but whenever I talk to the daycare man 1 frame before my target, the game advances it a random amount instead of 1. Thus leaving me unable to get the IVs I’m looking for. Is there a reason behind this?
I also had this issue. I’m assuming there is some kind of advancement happening off screen so you need to pull up the menu screen as soon as you load into the game to stop whatever is causing the advances, and once you are done with chatot advances, close the menu and IMMEDIATELY talk to the daycare man. Spend as little time as you can outside of the menu/dialogue screens.
@@alfvred7969I did this but still got the wrong IVs, made sure to chatot only 1 frame before… exited to the menu… and then rolled b(exit)+a(talk) immediately on the old man… I doubled-checked the IVs with PKSM, and the only IVs that matched up were at frame 134 (not 12) somehow. Guess I’ll just have to try again another time.
you really need to be fast when opening the menu when you load the game try taking a frame between 15 and 20 and mash A when backing out the menu you'll get eventually. I know it's been 10 months i hope you got it eventually and hopefully this comment helps other people
I keep running into a weird issue where I apparently hit the correct delay, but the Locations that the roamers are meant to be is incorrect/Does not Match up with what my game displays. Obviously when I tried generating the egg and saving in front of the guy, I do not wind up with the correct pokemon at all. It's very strange since I was able to do this with success before, though this was a few months ago. I am on a 3DS, does that make it inconsistent? (I still got it working fine on this very same 3DS before but maybe stuff changes?)
I managed to eventually get it working again. It was a Calibration issue in Eon Timer. I had to find the actual delay I hit, so I just had to expand the delay finder to something like 500. Once I found my actual delay, I was able to properly Calibrate Eon timer to my device/reflex time. So maybe try that! Good luck!

@@MapleleafUmbreon oh yeah just to let you know, I ended up finding out how to RNG eggs and now it works with no problems. Sometimes the roamers just show slightly different for whatever reason but I confirm with Irwin & things end up working out

I am doing this RNG before release any roamers. Everything works fine for me, but last IV manipulation does not seem to work for me. Based on my test, as long as I hit the delay in daycare after putting them in, I get shiny pokemon with fixed IV. I wonder how to find that IV, that seems to be a easier way to get a shiny with compromised IV before roamers.
in Sword and Shield, shiny pokemons can have a square animation instead of the usual stars when entering a fight. Technically speaking, those square ones are rarer than the star ones, but it doesn't really matter if you keep your shiny pokemon in any game before Gen 8 since the difference isn't noticeable till then.

This method of egg generating did not work for me on latest Poke Finder - which is odd considering the method I used to catch a 6IV ditto was on the latest version... Oh well! Happy with my shiny perfect IV Starmie :)

would it be possible to find ditto as the parent with your preferred Ivs (or perfect ivs)? and then just catch a normal pokemon that you wanted to breed? if that's possible, wouldn't it just be easier so you don't have to do the first part of the video to find the parents?
Yes, I thought the same and I can confirm this works. I bred my perfect Ditto with my non perfect Breloom and got my shiny perfect Shroomish. You just have to look for a seed where all inheritances come from your perfect Ditto and none from your non perfect Pokemon. So there's no need to catch Pokemon with desired IVs everytime you do this method.
he probably did it because its faster to get an egg the chances for an egg depends on the parents and trainer ID example the best odds you get by having the same pokemon with diffrent Trainer IDs from each other

Check Shinyness nature and other PID related things. Choose desired IVs disregard PID related filters and generate seed in searcher tab. Put desired seed in the generator tab in the seed pickup section pickup advances is chattot flips required after you generate the egg. after you have found your desired advance frame remove all filters for the pokemon and then click generate. check for pitch and calls to see if they line up. stop 1 before the target and then exit menu and accept the egg from daycare man. Fly to stats judger and the hidden power checker to double check you got the right pokemon.

@@gobbagoo 11 months late but no language does not affect it at all lmao. If your delay is even but you keep hitting an odd delay, change your year by decreasing or increasing it of 1

@@cskelly3783 over 100 frames is a lot to be off by, I’m not sure. Have you tried asking around blisys discord? I’m sure someone could help there
I think that the NPCs in the routes make random advances when they move

I have the exact same thing going on right now, except I'm rnging on a DS Phat & ive done egg rngs on the very same device and game :(
