I was sitting in the couch packing my stuffs when the gym was closing, then first I saw Pete, and then Magnus came up the stairs too. I’ve seen and talked to many celebrities before, but I’ve never been that starstuck, something my girlfriend can confirm 😆 Great episode! 😁
People are not liking this comment but I get what you mean. I had an experience where I ran into someone who was not necessarily incredibly famous but just someone I was surprised to see and had a similar freeze up. I've been lucky enough to meet a lot of "celebrities" in my field of study but when it's expected it's just not as anxiety inducing for some reason. If you're curious, it was the CEO of Waffle House. I was weirdly star struck since it was in one their restaurants in Atlanta lol. I had recently been studying Waffle House and disaster response so it was just very surreal?
For lead climbing, you could add in some voice over describing the climb. Adam and Stefano have been doing that. It is nice for the newer climbers to hear you talk through what your thoughts are as you climb.
I had mad respect for Pete before going to that exact same gym two days ago, but after trying the cracks for the first time i am certain that he is some kind of demigod or something. I really like the 50fps btw! Less motion blur, and that makes the fast boulder moves look more clean and powerful in my opinion! Great vid🙏🏽🔥
Shortly after you guys walked in and I saw you and freaked out i topped the two hardest problems I've ever done. Amazing to see you guys climbing those boulders
For me the 50 fps makes a pretty substantial difference, especially during movement of the camera. You included some nice panning shots and they look slik smooth ;)
You can still eliminate motion blur in 25 fps, 50 fps is mostly only used for slowing down to 25fps in your timeline so you have slomo. In action it's sometimes good to have less motion blur, but in longer videos usually is best to keep motion blur as some people get a nauseous feeling from unnatural lack of motion bur.
@@juliensantini5882 I really despice motion blur... It seems really unnatural to me, because in reality you would only expect this for very fast movements and not during something small as a panning camera. This is a very bad and (from my point of view) unwanted feature.
There is not much comments about the gym but Man its sooo huge, there's absolutely everything you need in one place for all levels 😱😱😱 wish i could travel to norway just for a session there 😭😭
Yep, time to book a climbing trip to Norway, and visit my ancestral land haha. Seriously this video makes me want to climb again, I haven't climbed in ages.
