Pageant Stage Makeup Routine | WOC Friendly | Faith Charles

Hey guys! I'm finally uploading my pageant stage makeup routine! This was a HIGHLY requested video and I'm so excited that I finally got to film it! My pageant makeup routine is something that I have practiced over the past 4+ years and I finally feel like I perfected it! Now, I am not a certified pageant makeup artist and I'm not saying this makeup routine is going to make you win your pageant, but this is what I personally like to do! This routine is WOC and oily skin friendly! I really hope you guys learn a lot from this tutorial! Don't forget to like, comment, + subscribe! Hello! I love your makeup look! I was wondering if you got your foundation in a shade darker because of stage lighting? Or did you just stick to your color match?

So in this video I actually used the same shade. Lately, I’ve actually been using a slightly lighter shade. I know it might sound crazy, but it looks so much better on stage when you brighten yourself up. Especially when you have on these extravagant outfits, with beading and such. If I used the same shade or darker shade I felt like my makeup didn’t really “pop” as much as using a slightly lighter shade to give me that more beat, glam look. As long as you blend, blend, blend, it’ll look flawless.
