Captain is doing the most in explaining the procedure...
I like it
indeed, very helpful
Such a great plane living up to its forefathers such as the MD-11 and MD-80
DC-9!
Enjoyed the approach into Catania! Liked
Good job for the crew... and a nice plane the 717👍
awesome touch down. its a beautiful plane
The Second Officer is very confident..... time to promote him.
I still say SMOOTH As BUTTER And the Views and BLUE ,BLUE WATER ....BEAUTIFUL .Thank you JUST PLANES 🌹🌹🌷🌷💖💖🌹🌹🌷🌷
MD 11 cockpit layout
Amazing
[" Very nice approach. "]
Awesome! Does anyone know which company did the avionics for the 717? Because I really love the cockpit displays on them!
Honeywell manufactured the avionics, which to the eye is a complete replica of the MD-11. However the actual architecture ("under the hood" so to speak) is a derivative from the B777.
OK, thanks!
Nice video
Love the GPWS lol
The Avionics is awesome, the displays look like TFT
They are TFT!
❤
STAY SAFE.
R.I.P. COBBA1F 😥
So what happened with the cockpit being on lock down? When was that rule eased up?
I think that's just an American thing.
Could be a Company person on the jump seat. It's right in the middle fold down seat. The cockpit door closes right behind. Been in that seat many of times on all the MD80s and MD95. Jump seated on the C17 and most of the Boeing Aircrafts except B787. Looking forward to that experience.
@@keithfreitas2983 somebody said foreign companies don't do that.
He didnt mentioned the autobrake in before landing checklist
Not all Volotea's B717 were equiped with ABS.
finaly a video in Catania LICC!
I love the 7171 - a pitty Boeing does not produce this model anymore. Planes with the engines on the back are highly more silent and confortables for all passengers - everyone is ahead of the engines. In the planes with the engines under the wings only rich people sit in front. Thta's is not fair.
ON low cost carries poor people can still enjoy sitting in front of the engine lol
Shut up and get a better job
Ok commie
rip cobba starts :(
Vogliamo COBBA 1F indietro!😂
LOL 717 likes

Leandro Carvalho thanks very much Leandro
Great Captain assisting the First Officer!
I remember flying into Catania years ago to visit our family there. Was on an old AirOne MD83 though I think and they certainly liked the brakes during rollout lol. Never been thrown so far forward in my seat ;D
Catania? Sono di Catania.
too much flare
i thought the same thing too, and it wasn't the longest runway in the world either
Ha the FO tried to grease it on the runway but instead floated it down the runway way past the touchdown point hence the slam....;)
for a second there I thought he had it! but he was too greedy lol
Remind us what it is you fly again ?
Rob D2 737-800 :)
Rob D2 well, I’m technically type rated on the 737 from the 300-900 series. But my operator use 738s and have a single 737-700
Jpr993 , In which case you’d know it’s called the touchdown zone, not the touchdown point, and extends 1-3000 ‘ into the runway and he was still well within it. Are you sure it’s not a Microsoft flight sim type rating you have ??!
I love the being l stadiums the plane
