Pushing a cat with a bucket is priceless. I think Tucker waited for the right moment. If you watch his eyes, you would notice that he was following the cat as the cat was approaching.

I can see how that board target training could overlap a lot of other behavior such as mounting! Thank you!. I am excited to try a couple today with the help of some handy dandy carrot slices.

Smile is very simple! Just get a treat and let your pony smell it and hold it just above it’s top lip. Reward instantly whenever the top lip moves, it can take a few sessions but once your pony lifts its lip quite a lot. Then you can raise the hand with the treat and wiggle your finger and say smile, same thing. Reward when lip moves. It’s super easy! There are tons of RUclips videos too if I didn’t explain good enough

Omg you and Tucker playing “catch” at the end rolling the ball back and forth to each other was so cute.
We need like a “tucker playing with the ball” b-roll maybe on like yt shorts or something 😂

    • @CarmellaAbel

Hello and thanks for your support! I would say practice doing it on the ground first. Your body will act as your leg, so when you need the horse turn right during the back, put yourself on the left side of the horse. I hope this makes sense and best wishes!!

It may be a common thing that I have never herd off or we simply don’t do in Australia but what’s the reason behind Tucker having his chest shaved? Or does it appear that way? 🤠

I don't know if I taught my horses to put on haters or bridles but they did. They would put their heads down and push their nose though the halter. Roughly the same for bridles. I never used treats not because I'm against it. No, I just never thought to. Again I had the horses remove their bridles. Undo chin strap and nose strap lift the headpiece and the horse drop their heads and spit out the bit They would wait for a scratch and then move off

Hello! It just depends on your horse and that ratio. Horses can comfortably carry 20% of their body weight. If you have a heavier breed, I would say you could do it!
