if you want to live long, halogen is best. white colour light or led or hid, will blind oncoming drivers and they will do head on collison onto you. i drive i20 elite with halogen. be safe, live long.

Laser head lamps are costly and requires additional circuit to control the power of laser intensity and range.
Its not that easy to install after market in the older cars, these are not like buying halogen lamp car and upgrade to the led lamp in after market.

This will blink all of your turning signals{yellow coloured and highly visible} to warn other drivers about you
Halogen is also good but it's range is not good and LED provide good range in a fair price

The best option is to fit only those headlights recommended for that model as OEM fitting.
People make mistake of thinking headlight is only the bulb, when the optimum performance actually come from a headlight set designed to work together . So LED has different kind of body housing, reflectors , lenses from H4 bulb and merely changing bulb will not help. This will apply for any other type of bulb too.
Also for fog and rains it is more important that the light is at the correct level, which should be as close to the ground to avoid back scatter as much as possible.
In foggy conditions and heavy rains it is assumed you will not be at speed so range of light does not matter but how effectively the back scatter is avoided and a safe enough area is illuminated ahead of you.
The best position for this are the fog lights in the dedicated housing in the car bumper , and these preferably can be halogen.
Maruti models with LED original light fitting that I have used came with halogen fogs.
