I haven't read the book, so when I first saw this scene, I was like. ...... what the heck is going on!? As it progressed, it got funnier and funnier, I was howling with laughter. It's got the be one of the best scenes it the film. The eagle rescue is very dramatic and emotional, it's probably my first pick for best scene, and then this one second place. I give it a 9.1 score.

Very true, but I think that the cartoon hobbit movie will always have a place in the hearts of us hobbit fans.
