- Balloon dip technique with acrylic pour! Beautiful abstract flowers.
My previous balloon dip was so much fun! I wanted to do another one and looked at Pinterest for color inspiration. I am using orange, yellow, magenta and purple. For this one, I blew up a nitrile glove and used that to dip. I did use a small balloon for a few parts, but I think I like the glove dip better than the balloon. I believe there is more control with it. These colors are so complimentary and I will definitely be using them again in another video!

This is technique is much easier than pouring and then balloon smashing - this way the colours are much more controllable. Thank you so very much for sharing. This piece is beautiful ❤️

Great work and great video. The camera angle is perfect, and it's a nice change not to have chattering in the background; only the music. It's much easier to focus on what your doing. Love your art.

@@amandasdesignsofficial Question, I notice the final result is more 'muted' than before the paint dries. Is there any way of making it pop and be as 'vibrant' as before, ie would trying a gloss coat work?

Once the paint dries on the balloons is the paint easily removed. If so, the paint could be used in so many ways.

Amanda, that's beautiful! I created my first balloon dip last night, but I didnt put any base on. I like the way yours whisps into the white and makes flowers.
I like this technique, it’s not so chaotic like other balloon smashes that I’ve tried.

You are an awesome artist. I probably missed it, but what exact colors did you use? Or doesn't it matter? How do you mix your colors. Where should I be looking to find this information? Thank you so much for your contributions.
You can use any colors that you like. In my piece, I used white for the base and then orange, magenta and yellow for the dipped colors. I mix them with water and either floetrol or Sargent Art gloss medium. There are a lot of pouring mediums out there that can work depending on what you have available where you live.
