How to build up a Carousel - 5 Hours of Time lapse

I find it interesting that the horse mechanisms have their own geared motors, compared to many of the american ones that use a large angled gear in the center of the mechanism. I'm assuming it has many benefits for the operator and the manufacturer, although it slightly changes the ride experience. I wonder what HP are the motors on this carousel are?
