I wish this man nothing but success, he honestly deserves it. You are a good man, Mark. I'm looking for a Marathon watch and when my budget is right I'll hopefully be purchasing from you.
Agreed. He's honest and you can see the passion he has for watches in all of his videos. Thank you Mark for sharing your advice, observations and knowledge with us.
I saw this model today at a watch event here in Canada and it is beautiful. I liked it so much that I ended up purchasing there and then. Plan on creating a lot of memories and adventures with it!
Stunning watches. A bit outside my price range, but one day I will just have to save up. It’s a toss up between a Squale and a Christopher Ward right now. Thanks for the great review and showing us the watches!
Marc, you are the king of excellent bracelets and after-market straps. You're a genuinely nice guy and truly deserve all the continued success you have earned through perennially honest business practices with a smile and fair prices.
So great to see a Marathon watch without Tritium tubes. It has always been a deal breaker to me. The large lume plots are another nice touch. They remind me (in a good sense) of the vintage Yema Superman II.
Thanks Mark for making bracelets for so many models. I got one for my Citizen EO-2020 from your store, I was shocked to see you made one for such a niche model.
Marathon TSAR owner here! Mark, you make the best SAR bracelets. Love the one on my watch and excited to hear about your upcoming bezel inserts. Hopefully, a red one????
Supercool! I have an original SAR dated from 2002, and have never known exactly what to call it. Now I’ll call it an original OSAR. I love the idea of a swappable bezel. As someone has already mentioned, a 12 hour would be nice, but I’d love a Pepsi and/or Coke, too!
@@islandwatch if you’ve got a direct line to Marathon, could you tell them at least one customer that dates back that long would love to see two things (in addition to the Coke/Pepsi bezel): a milled clasp and applied luminous ceramic plots (like Tudor). They can sell that model for a premium, too!
Well done vid once again! Much love for Marathon. Arctic GSAR, Navigator in cabin, but envy that OSAR dial face. Will be waiting for bezel info. Thanks, PMc
I have an original. It has a 60 click bezel. It came on a nylon strap. The bracelet has the Maple Leaf. They both came in simple brown cardboard boxes. :)
@@steamyTraveler001 💯 I agree with every word. In fact there's no other online business that I'd rather give my business to. That's not my point. There's just a certain je ne sais quoi about this mug. Marc knows what I'm talking about, he's living it. 😂 Anyway, I'll be hitting him up for a new Seiko Turtle soon enough. 👍
The bezel pip on GSAR and JDD is not tritium (I've owned and sold both), and the MaraGlo is not sufficient. I need all night visibility. Wearing Luminox Master SEAL Carbon. Amazing watch, keeps time as well as the JDD for half the price and with half the weight.
i like the largest model, i think its the Jsar jumbo sar. I like tritium and i wish they done an orange or red face. I have a Luminox divers Pacific blue face model and Tritium is amazing. I am dying to get 2 Marathons.
While I prefer the current GSAR, I like your adjustable bracelet. Speaking of which, Marc, I would love to hear your thoughts about that hardened steel that some microbrands (Traska, Tuseno) are using. Is that something you would consider for future Islanders?
Like the tritium much better. More unique dial. Cool offer with the Islander bracelet probably better than the underwhelming Marathon bracelet for the money.
Nice presentation and watches. I do have a request though. I wish you would consistently post your wrist size for the watch you are presenting. It helps me with gaining a better perspective than just saying "the case is 41mm" or whatever. You may have mentioned your wrist size in the past but my memory ain't what it used to be.
Oh man I’m disappointed!! I ordered from marathon to be one of the first 85, but you are giving away a free braclet and you had serial number 71! So they didn’t even reserve the first 85 for them. That’s crazy.
@@hd_couple_4380 I did the same. Ordered to be one of the first 85 thinking not only the case set but the first 85. Would make them collectible in a sense but now it doesn’t matter. Marks are cheaper too and a free bracelet. Like I feel like we got burned.
Love those watches. Marc, I’m a fan and it’s a cool offer but do you really have to do those click bait video picture that suggests that you will give away free GSAR when I buy an OSAR. I mean, after watching video now I understand that this arrow points to a bracelet, and it’s not like II only watch videos with free giveaways but cmon, I think this is unnecessary
Wow a free bracelet on a watch that is overpriced to begin with. Such a easy pass. Please folks do your research before you spend your money. Google is your friend.
I wish this man nothing but success, he honestly deserves it. You are a good man, Mark. I'm looking for a Marathon watch and when my budget is right I'll hopefully be purchasing from you.
Marc has success. You should be wishing him continued success pal. 👍
thanks!!!

Thank you Mark for sharing your advice, observations and knowledge with us.
This is exactly why I bought the rubber osar from you , it came with a beautiful stainless steel bracelet! Thanks for offering that deal!
Thanks for always being great Marc
thanks!

thanks for checking it out!
You’re a smart businessman and equally a cool dude.

Nice vintage vibes, agreed.
Always have these watches on my wish list. Thank you very much for this content and offer.
Thanks so much!
It's fun to see someone who loves what they do for work! Looking forward to more videos and shopping time at LIW.
Yes! Thank you!
Thanks Mark for making bracelets for so many models. I got one for my Citizen EO-2020 from your store, I was shocked to see you made one for such a niche model.
thanks!!!!
Thanks for the informative video, Marc! I just picked up the OSAR (on the rubber) and it's great that you have a bracelet option for this model!
Just bought a diver from Marc and couldn't be happier!!!
thanks!
Not the watch I seek, but always love to see Marc rockin' the Cooper swag! The ratcheting Islander bracelet, on the other hand...
I definitely prefer the new version, the dial is much more readable 💯👍
thanks!
Marathon TSAR owner here! Mark, you make the best SAR bracelets. Love the one on my watch and excited to hear about your upcoming bezel inserts. Hopefully, a red one????
Great deal, Marc!! Thanks!
I like the newer version better, but I will definitely be hitting you up for that bracelet!
I love these. Wish I could afford them. Smart idea with the bracelet.
thanks!
I just ordered the Marathon Islander collab. Can’t wait to see it!
Can't wait to see your new bezel!
36mm is the most returned?!? My 6" wrist would like to know if you've got any extras laying around at a discount?
Yup, crazy amounts.
6.5 in wrist. Love those 36-39mm

You got the SAR! LOL Only the new ones are OSAR. Noboby knew it would be around in 22 years.

Looks so good w the new oversized indices.
I would totally support a 22mm Islander bracelet for the giant 46mm JSAR 😬👍 NO aftermarket options that I can find, anywhere...
Amazing mark . Is there any plan to make a bracelet for the 36mm model ?
the 18mm H link for the Msar is available on the long island website right now
@jonathanfurlong6880 no it isn't that's for the 41mm version . The 36mm fits a 18mm lug width not 20
Thanks, Marc! (I am genuinely enjoying my Marathon/Islander Special Edition!) 👍
Glad to hear it!
Well done vid once again! Much love for Marathon. Arctic GSAR, Navigator in cabin, but envy that OSAR dial face. Will be waiting for bezel info. Thanks, PMc
great to hear that, thanks!
Those are some handsome Marathon's with a fun twist. 🐶🐕😊
Sure are, thanks!
Easily the best looking marathon I think.
Hey ! Their new watch is nice !
Will you make a bracelet for the medium gsar and tsar watch??
Did you finish making custom bezels for these yet? I would be interested in a coin bezel one or something.
Nice bracelet Marc
Sir, does the “Cyclops” over the date, is it protruding from the Sapphire Crystal or flat and internal?
I stopped the video on the Greenport - I may have to buy that - gorgeous!!!!
that's awesome, thanks!
Good advice on getting the 41mm size. I tried the smaller 36mm before and had that same issue. It wasn't what I expected. Just a strange size.
Great watch and offer but unfortunately my budget won’t allow it at this time. Thanks Marc. Have a great day! 🙏🏼
No worries, thanks!
Do you think there will be a 46mm version of the OSAR in the future?
Looking at an ISL-18 right now, currently my top pick over most Seikos and Glycine Combat Sub for my choice of first nice watch.
I have an original. It has a 60 click bezel. It came on a nylon strap. The bracelet has the Maple Leaf. They both came in simple brown cardboard boxes. :)
I'm not so sure about this Marc fella. However, I enjoy his vids, line of house brand watches, and also his DIY content.
LOL. He's a bit strange.

Oh this new dial looks amazing. And dang it, that deal is too good, how to resist???!!!!! (must resist, must resist, resist ...).
yes! No resisting.
Hey Mark, what version is your favorite?? The OSAR I think I prefer. Less busy dial…
Wow! I love the look of it but I wish they also made a 36mm version
Maybe in the future.
Mark will there be a Lynbrook model been waiting in the hope there will be.
Not currently, sorry.
Love the GSAR White dial. Does that fit the Islander?
Yup. Every GSAR/TSAR/OSAR.
Looks so much better
easier on the eyes!
Nice watch got my eye on a squale
Great brand!
Thanks for the info, I still can’t get past the two watches at once so I bought one from Teddy
Interested in the 36mm GSAR. Is your bracelet compatible? Sweet offer on including an Islander bracelet w purchase of a Marathon btw.
Is the basil ceramic or aluminum?
this one is aluminum
i like the largest model, i think its the Jsar jumbo sar. I like tritium and i wish they done an orange or red face. I have a Luminox divers Pacific blue face model and Tritium is amazing. I am dying to get 2 Marathons.
Yup, that's the one, but the JSAR is Maraglo. The JDD is tritium
While I prefer the current GSAR, I like your adjustable bracelet. Speaking of which, Marc, I would love to hear your thoughts about that hardened steel that some microbrands (Traska, Tuseno) are using. Is that something you would consider for future Islanders?
I need a MSAR islander bracelet!
Crazy Marc's Crazy Watch Deals!
Nice 🎉
the Rook bezel is gorgeous.
yup!
Like the tritium much better. More unique dial. Cool offer with the Islander bracelet probably better than the underwhelming Marathon bracelet for the money.
By not using tritium they should have made the case thinner. However this dial looks better to me
Fair enough!
I'm sad to hear about how often the MSAR is returned. I love mine.
It's insane.
Thanks Mark, I've purchased 2 Marathons from you and also the BRAC bracelet. Did you say you were making Bezels??? Maybe 12 hour??
Bezels, yes. Inserts will be many!

I say it almost every single time!
Have always liked Marathons.
Not me. I get tired of running.
Ditto. Own a bunch
Yes
:)
My GSAR Arctic model is a tank.
Like a cartier tank?
Try the JSAR
Does AR stand for Arnold Rothstein? Eyes don'ts understand?
I love huge indices just like this, hard to find.
From the picture I thought you were including a bonus watch?
What offer please?
Dam what a deal, but I just got a Squale last month from you...
I just wanna talk about that Northport honestly... I have a Brookville and it made me believe in trying smaller watches.
great!
I love love love an automatic watch, however coma I think this watch being what it is needs a high torque quartz!!
Still prefer the 36mm with the 2824-2.
Momentum vibes
Magnum PI vibes
Amazingly generous offer!!!!!
thank you!
No inner AR for $1500?? Come on Marathon!!!
They actually do not believe in it.
I have a idea you should offer people to upgrade there watch crystal for a certain price
Crazy deal Marc! Just don’t go into the stereo business like Crazy Eddie did in Brooklyn.😉
LOLOLOL
“Dial it in” no pun intended
please make bracelet for spb383
Noted.
@@islandwatch thank you, love the content
Went to go look on the website and they were already sold out!!!
Ahh man! Too bad it's a tiny 41. Oh well...the ladies might like it!
The OSAR looks like an SKX with a Submariner dial at first glance.
Man, I'd love one, but bleeding cash this year and this ain't in the budget.
got it.
Thank you for saying PROSPEX like “professional specifications,” not like the crusty old prospector.
Glad iIcould make you happy!
that's a great deal, i don't have the money.
Oh man I’m disappointed!! I ordered from marathon to be one of the first 85, but you are giving away a free braclet and you had serial number 71! So they didn’t even reserve the first 85 for them. That’s crazy.
I was thinking the same exact thing. I ordered from the VIP email on the 24th. Hoping its numbered between 1-85
I'm sure it's a random grab.
@@hd_couple_4380 I did the same. Ordered to be one of the first 85 thinking not only the case set but the first 85. Would make them collectible in a sense but now it doesn’t matter. Marks are cheaper too and a free bracelet. Like I feel like we got burned.
Four Marathons on my dresser. That s creepy at night🤣🤣
LOL. Yeah, I'm nuts.
can you please make a metal bracelet with quick release?
Maybe one day.
That's it, OSAR is out of stock already.
They gone !
that was fast. LOL
Mark's bracelet looks better.
So… are you The Wiz?
LOL
Always like the GSAR, and the free island bracelet makes it tempting, but my fear is how thicc they are.
You don't notice it.

I agree, misleading
The tritium on my dresser is on a Smith & Wesson.
Wow a free bracelet on a watch that is overpriced to begin with. Such a easy pass. Please folks do your research before you spend your money. Google is your friend.
Typical Seiko alignment!
LOL
Marathon’s customer service is atrocious. Love LIW, but do yourself a favor and buy a different brand.
