Brian’s designs are so sophisticated that you actually need more than a short video to fully gain appreciation for his truly magnificent combination of design and beauty.
His name should be GLOCKstein, he kills everytime! This is just another level of sophistication, with the light oak panelling and that kitchen(!!) How amazing that the new owners can inject their personality easily with their own colours in the way of a few cushions here and there. This man outdoes himself everytime.
Brian, you are so in tune with trends as well as design history. I love the pieces of art on the main level, especially the one drawing off the art deco hallway and the butterfly and Chinese ceramics in the stairs. It's like a knod a past world of opulence. You've been able to create a space that feels so post-covid, abundant and peaceful. I can imagine my family in that space. There is so much room for love and joy to fill!!! You are brilliant!!!!
I have been an avid fan of Brian for quite a while now and this project is my favourite (thus far)! Don't let the naysayers get to you; your work has always been chic without being too flashy, which I always appreciate.
I love Brian’s work, he’s simply Brilliant! Every year I look forward to seeing what Brian created for the Princess Margaret Show House! I also appreciate Brian sharing his thought process on his design work.
I had to stop and comment, Ilooooveeee all of Brian's designs. He is a genius and so classy and sophisticated details and designs.. specially mixing antique and woods. Thank for this video, H&H. 🤍
Hello Brian... Captured my attention you have..... Neutral earth tones w gold~ white .. Phenomenal ... Iron within a home "CLASSY CHIC" .. Kitchen bright ~ airy~ spacious glass Oval table magnificent.. Wonderful showing..
The Man is a master of art 🙌 The type of art that you live, use and experience daily -that’s if you are lucky enough to live in his spaces. Love, love , love!
This is my fave show home to date ... very elegant, eclectic and utterly liveable. I can feel how much Brian loves it too! P.S. Thanks for the round and oval dining table inspo also!
Beautiful Art Deco feeling home. This house is a showcase. Open concept design . Tailoring the space with iron metals and warm natural materials. Light light light light simply bright delight. thanks-nice design features. Great HOUSE
I liked this design out of all the other design he did for the lottery in the past specially the kitchen here is much better than the kitchen in the old one
Stunning. Great attention to details. I'd like to see a little colour here and there in a painting or a cushion. Just subtle but I personally think it'd make it sing! Lovely architecture and so light. I'm envious 😉
The kitchen wall w/skinny windows/shelves/lights/plaster hood. I’m calling to ask if my contractor can do that layout in my kitchen. Thanks, Brian!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful design, love the pops of art deco in entryway and use of wood paneling. Not a fan of the kitchen from a practical daily use perspective but all in all lots of inspo here. thanks!
I've been looking for similar bookcase type shelving like that to use to separate a space but still let light through. It's proven to be difficult to find, or if I find its not affordable to me, anyways this is nice.
@@Zluka-Kluka .. isn’t it based on our own lifestyle and perception? To you a home library may need to be full of book shelves, to others, a few shelves are sufficient. If it’s our home, we decorate it to our taste and preference wouldn’t it? For purpose of staging, designers wouldn’t go over board with the furnishings and interior deco. It’s up to the owner to further decorate it to make it their home and what to do with particular this space in contention.
I’m not crazy about this home. To me it does not look well connected or cohesive. The tall bookshelves that divide the two rooms looks off. The sofas that are across from the kitchen room has a completely different design style from the rest of the home. That room in particular has a more contemporary feel than traditional like the rest of the home with the modular sofas . I also don’t like the texture of the kitchen cabinets I can’t imagine it being practical to wipe clean if something gets on it. But then again this is for someone where money is not a factor. I don’t don’t hate the home but it’s not giving what it’s suppose to give.
Love your honesty and those back to back sofas near the kitchen make me feel uneasy. Something about that ain't right. Plus imagine the stains that sofa will have as part of an eating experience. In a family real world that setup wouldn't last too long. They need to bring in a McDonalds plastic hose down booth with a decoritve drain in the floor.
I suggest a glass widow / doors partition between the LR and Library. Also I pray that 'sink or appliance' set into a kitchen island concept will just go away.
I always look forward to the Princess Margaret Show Homes....they are beautiful building structures and present a wonderful opportunity to blow away both the owner and the viewer and yet when it comes to the interior decor I am disappointed every time...while I appreciate the individual items of furniture and decor somehow it never seems to seamlessly flow in terms of aesthetics or function wise ...the black iron steel frames look gorgeous but a library ...cmon except for a few coffee table books that's no way a library! and that study table looks hideous!!! the dining table looks too casual for a formal dining room and why would you do a project on that table if you really want to invite and entertain people into your house....again the cane in the kitchen cabinets look wonderful but is it practical for a kitchen ...and while I love monochromatic decor ...this house looks too washed out and bland with so much overdose of white! But I guess its my personal opinion and there's a reason why these people invite and pay Brian every time !
I agree with you it makes me laugh when they start calling a book case a library and they often put a couple of floating shelves on a wall and call it a bar. That one is a classic. I do like that Brian keeps this plain and all that stuff can be sold and removed leaving the winner with a decent canvas to have painted and decorated to their perfection. I look forward to the home lottery each time and do virtual tours with commentary because it's always fun and surprising what's around the corner : )
Now this is a DESIGNER. I’m tired of all the clueless millennials that just copy each other’s modern farm houses and think they’ve invented something 😆
The round foyer is a mistake. First, it is small and doesn't immediately make one want to flow into any other space; rather, it is like "the circular flow of water associated with an eddy . Also, if the trends this year are about more open spaces for entertaining, then why would you have a circle for a foyer which is the symbol for the beginning being its own end: this is a stylistic and thematic incongruence. Second, the general feel of the house is modern; yet, you place an antique armoire as the first piece of furniture upon entering the residence? Not right.
@@ilovelicorice2 - Instead of passive aggressive insults, why don't you tell me why I'm wrong? That is what a properly educated adult would do. You'll notice that I only commented on the design decisions as it related to what the desirer purported to achieve by said decisions. See how that works? On a related note, having great taste, especially when one can afford it, doesn't require third-party validation in the form of an award.

He is a professional and I like how he keeps things simple and tasteful.
I did not want this video to stop, it's way too short 😭
Beautiful, light but so warm and inviting. It calls you to grab a blanket and snuggle.
Light colors that work well together with black accents. I especially liked the cabinets with black trim.

For sure. It could be your "Happy Place". Good luck in the draw.
Great, great, great work Mr. Gluckstein!
Wood paneling is stunning in the living room. Love the kitchen too.

One word: Elegant.
Two words: Good luck
This is the pretties luxury design I have seen in a long time! Clearly this designer knows his stuff. 👍
As always all Princess Margaret Showhouse ive seen looks excellent
I love the Gluckstein Home Cane Dining chairs. so sleek and chic, yet contemporary. Really original Brian, I really like the vibe.
Another stunning home designed by Brian! I love his joy at how the spaces turned out, and they turned out beautifully.
I have never in my life loved a home more than this one. Everything about it is INCREDIBLE

I think this is my favourite of The Princess Margaret homes to date. Thank you for sharing.
What's your favourite part of the home?
Amazing stunning perfect awesome I love every inch of that beautiful home great job 🤗❤️❤️
I never thought white oak could be used like that. This turns out to be amazing
I liked this design out of all the other design he did for the lottery in the past specially the kitchen here is much better than the kitchen in the old one
You call that a library 🤔 ? And it took me awhile to understand he kept saying “black”. I was hearing “block” 😂😂. Gorgeous to look at.
I agree, one would expect a bookcase and books as minimum.
The best is when they add a few floating shelfs to a random wall and call it a bar.
Love, love, love every detail and especially Brian's passion for his craft!
Awesome spaces !
What a mind! Stunning home.
Love love love everything about this house
Stunningly beautiful and well planned. But…why is the tv so neck aching high?
I don't have a neck

Well balanced design I think the kitchen doors are totally impractical the cane will look tired in no time
Love the colours together
Gorgeous space
Absolutely stunning house 🤩🏡
What's your favourite room?
Such a gorgeous house but imagine having such a grand house and people being able to see in your living room from what looks like quite a busy street.
I'd sell this one and get something more private for sure. Good catch!
To die for!!! So divine
Perfection.
Brian is awesome!!! I love ALL his designs.
I like that he keeps things plain so you can dress it up or add the colours you want.
Lovely design!
I love your test up to the sky 💫⭐️🌟

I love this home 🏡

I would hire Bryan in a New York minute! Love his design style!
Soo beautiful !!! No comments needed , )
BEAUTIFUL
So zen. !
Beautiful 😍
So beautifully designed and decorate. I wish I lived in Ontario to win this home.

this is beyond posh
The background sound is a bit too loud imo.

Where is that day bed in the thumbnail from?
Beautiful
The layout is unreal! I would like to see more color though.
The prize comes with a million dollars in cash you can paint the whole house to your desire : )
Well designed
Drool!
I’m thinking more Georgian than Art Deco for the lobby and sitting room.
Wouldn't cane in the kitchen be such a dust catcher and really hard to clean?
You can use a million dollars in cash that comes with the prize to help buff it out : )
Amazing house, but there are books in the library?
Isn’t whoever won the house later to full the library with the books if he/she so wishes?
