    Stay in India. Complete a proper bachelors degree. Gain some experience and then do your research about moving abroad, either to study at a credible university or look into direct LEGAL PR options.

      I tried this: I did my graduation and master's in India, gained experience in the Middle East, got PR through direct express entry, and arrived in Canada, where I’ve been searching for a job for a couple of months. The issue is that one job often has 100+ applications. Think about it: last month, 22K jobs opened in Canada, and 100K new students arrived in the same month. Many existing students, PR holders, and even Canadians are struggling to get jobs. What can I say? Reverse migration may be necessary, even though it feels bad.

      Paying a Canadian employer thousands of $s to get additional 50 points has ruined the market for people who have studied hard, worked and gained experience in their country and decided to come here for a better future. Canadian citizens were always pro immigration till the time it was legal. Tims franchise owners started selling LMIA jobs and ruined it all. It’s so shameful, why will Canadian sentiments not change?

    If I come to India as a student and when It's come to back home say you can't send me as I paid tuition fee to your country. Give me Indian citizenship, would that be okay? Did Canadian government ever tell you that if you come as a student we will give you PR? Whoever came here without doing proper research on the job market/immigration conditions it's on them that they are now in a tough spot.

    We Indians do research before even buying a 10-15k phone, but when it comes to spending 30-40 lakhs on our own education then we don't do any research, so we students are at fault. We all are almost 25+ but we are still acting like 15 years old.

    The early 20s are meant to develop new skills, build character and improve communication. However, most of the Indian students in Canada are focused on obtaining PR rather than developing skills. Unfortunately, these poor kids have no clue that even after obtaining PR, a $20-25/hr job will not be enough to sustain them in Canada in the long run, they will never be able to own a house.

    Agents in Punjab are enticing average students to come to Canada with false assurance that they will get part time jobs & can recover the fees.The model is wrong. If you have come to study in Canada,then the focus should be on completeing the studies rather than working hard with minimum wages to recover the fees.One can always work after completing the studies for which work visa is given by the Canadian Govt. Indians will loose in long run if their focus is short term.

    Educational consultants like IDP in Delhi doesn't sell you anything. No dream. They tell you about the courses and its on your consent they apply. But when I explored the same from agents in Punjab, I can recall in 2023 initial months they were like let me buy you a LMIA, let me get you a PR 😂 without even realizing that I do my research on my own. I stood as a Topper in Delhi University. I never entertained those agents again. They still send me LinkedIn requests and all. My money is my responsibility so is my education. I am amazed to learn that some people are blaming it on the government and agents. They shouldn't. Nobody forced them. Thank you.

    What does paying high fees have to do with a person's ability to land a job? That's like thinking that buying an expensive car will make you a great driver. The quality of the education and the skills of the individual are the things that will land them a job. Scammers will always exist - the question is, why don't 18 year olds in India have the critical thinking to understand this basic fact of life? Most of these students don't have the skills or aptitude to make it to the top universities, so they do the next best thing (in their minds) - spending a lot of money to make it to *any* western university, assuming naively that a degree will automatically land them a job. At least the US is very strict with issuing student visas, but Canada has been disappointingly lax on that front letting these students come in and study at colleges in strip malls that nobody has heard of.

    • @GognaSahil
      @GognaSahil  Месяц назад +1

      That’s the whole point of video - making them aware. They are paying 5 times but still not getting the right skills. Job market demands skills and now they are being exploited on this point.

    • @WeaponXIX
      @WeaponXIX Месяц назад +1

      Facts!
      I understand that individuals must have dreams and goals but moving to Canada at 18 to study a diploma course will not take you anywhere. These programs will not teach you any skills in most cases. Doing anything related to Business will not land you in a MNC as a consultant or something. They should study in India, gain some experience and then come to Canada. They’ll be mature enough to make decisions that are worth the struggles.

    • @nightwolf0toInf
      @nightwolf0toInf Месяц назад

      @@GognaSahil “they are paying 5 times but still not getting the right skills” - there are two statements you’re making, but you’re implying a connection that shouldn’t be taken for granted. People are paying 5 times the fees of domestic students - true. They are not gaining the right skills - true. But here’s my point - why are people assuming that paying a lot of money equates to a quality education and guarantees of a job? Doesn’t it say something of a persons critical thinking ability if they assume “high fees = good education = guaranteed job”?
      Why do so many Indians fall into this trap? Yes the system is exploitative, but it doesn’t give you the permission to be naive and fall into the trap. This lack of critical thinking itself should be a warning about their ability to get and keep an intellectually demanding job.

    Disagree with your video. Anyone can make a course and try to sell it. Taking a course will not make you anything. The main issue is students are not putting enough time on studies. On your own example, the person you are guiding does not even know how to write his/her own cv but wants to be a data analyst. Canada is a very competitive workplace, graduating from lowest rank colleges, working 1 sin and 2 cash and not putting any time on actual studies on respective fields will not land someone a job. If 200 applications are submitted for a post, more than 100 are well prepared and to stand out one would need better skill set than others. Have been following your videos regularly but this one to me seems wrongly directed. As a student who has recently graduated, think yourself as the ceo of company, you have no one else to complain and you have to sort everything by yourself. The writing may seem harsh but please accept the reality.

      For IT, definitely Canada is a competitive marketplace where being mediocre doesn’t guarantee success in cracking job interviews. But if we talk about some fields where demand > supply, then I don’t think we would need highest competence. Yes we still need to get our basics right, but learning a few skills here and there would definitely be fruitful in terms of landing a job. It’s all about making a career in those industries where one has completed their education.
