- In this episode of Chef’s Night Out, some of Peru’s most famous chefs-Jaime Pesaque of MAYTA and Virgilio Martínez of Central-hit the streets of Lima with Erik Ramirez of Llama Inn.
They start the night off with eucalyptus-smoked cocktails at MAYTA, then venture further down Avenida La Mar, a street known for its vast number of restaurants, where they make a stop at José Del Castillo's restaurant Las Reyes for small bites and Pisco sours. They finish the night off with Nikkei food at Māketto, street-side anticuchos, and live music and dancing back at MAYTA.

@@alexgalarza6908 1st now LOL
I'd love to see more of these guys, or more people like them--down to earth, not pretentious, even though extremely renowned, which has been the case in a lot of these vids.
Peruvian food is probably the best of all the cuisine. Facts
The best , great food ,great chefs , great friends , great places , mazing peruvian flavours
no other country in LATINAMERICA can offer the diversity artistry then Peru best restaurants and chefs best worldwide
peru was fascinating when I've been there. so happy to see this amazing country in munchies' content.
Finally a new chefs night out
I love the brotherhood of a kitchen just like skateboarding
Damn, everything in this video looked incredible
Nice! I live close by and have tried Mayta, the anticuchos on the corner, and Maketto...Pretty cool to eat in the same places as these Chefs...when I can afford it ;)
Sort of remarkable how many chefs nights out that munchies have done. keep up the work.
What a chilled night out...no overreacting bull
Lol Virgilio had a whole insect in his stomach for 10 years???
The whole video, I couldn’t stop thinking about that that
all the chinesse people may be have one of those 😣
He didn’t just study the food, he became the food
i had a peruvian place near Baltimore that was fuckin amazing, love this food
This show make me wanna own a restaurant.
Chefs night out is back!?!?? Yayyyyyyyyyy
I love my beautiful country of peru. And that's what being in Peru does to you 🤣 you start getting drunk and end up smoking like 6 cigarettes
Cigarettes, really? When I visited Peru in 2015 I noticed almost nobody smokes!
@@anudistsjury hmm that's strange. Have you whent to any late night bars or parties that last until 4am?
and doing alot of cocaine
Wgat a fucking honor to be there rigth next to the top of the best chefs not only from but of the world
Awesome
Yall should highlight the fella at the end and let 'em have some shine. Win or lose, I'm sure he deserves his chance.
Wow if I ever go back to NYC, I’ll be sure to look them up. Admire the friendship too! Good job.
Hay man cheers
Good show
Wait what O.o this is a really short one, when compared to the others
siiiiii csm!!!! gracias munchies
Esas palabritas controlarte por favor
wow they are kinda cool tho hahaha...i like them 😂
They should have invited that sweet woman to come along with the Chef's Night Out as it is meant to be 5:30
she's working 🤔
If theyd did she wouldve felt kinda out of place. Most people in Peru who have her skill and quality of work are happy just doing what they do best
And here I am eating fried sausages, still delicious tho
Seeing a lot of Peru videos lately.... Is the Peruvian Govt. doing something?. I mean Peru videos are literally on every youtube channel right now.
our government is in a political crisis for the past 3 years and can't get anything done. Probably it's the youtube algorithm
2:09 "its an herb"
*great job*
fuck im hungry
Impressive content 👌
So world famous that they aren't even in the video title!
Con todo respeto, el Trebol en Santa Clara (Ate) le gana a la señora. Acaba de cerrar sus puertas despues de 52 años. Es donde se nacio el cebiche de champiñones.
i need a Boss like this :D
ese parasito en el estomago fue como un chefsito???
Is it just me, or do all these guys look similar to each other?
Lol yes.. jajajaj
Yeah all brothers alright.. all men...
La infuencia africana es mas importante que la asiatica

Wait this isn't Drake & Josh........
modern interpretation of cuisine is a fancy way of saying we're going to charge double the price for a third of the portion size.
There is a very clear difference between fine dining and "Jimmy's all-you-can-eat", they're two different concepts.
Great more pertensious food
If you're going to use a word to make a point, learn how to spell it properly first.
@@mwrkhan he had to use all 6 1/2 of his brain cells and that's the best he could do.
That's not real Peruvian food. That's just some foodie spinoff shit. Real godfather of Peruvian food is Cucho La Rosa, you should take a look at the real side of Peruvian food too.
Ya ya causita
Que va que viene pero na como mejico
JAJAJAJA . No por nada Central de Perú es el 4to mejor restaurant del mundo
