@@richardpineda6481 i said the same thing.
Second one's pretty monotonous and the story is extremely shallow
@@theotherbeatle707 😢😭😭😭😭 how could you say that Bioshock 2 is amazing, I think you should replay it.
@@theotherbeatle707 Shallow doesn't mean bad .
The simplest stories are often the best stories , you need to look no further than TLOU (the first game) to find an example .

“I am Andrew Ryan, and I'm here to ask you a question. Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? 'No!' says the man in Washington, 'It belongs to the poor.' 'No!' says the man in the Vatican, 'It belongs to God.' 'No!' says the man in Moscow, 'It belongs to everyone.' I rejected those answers; instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose... Rapture, a city where the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality, Where the great would not be constrained by the small! And with the sweat of your brow, Rapture can become your city as well.”
― Andrew Ryan
Should have listened to the man in The Vatican (if we're talking 1960, not today)
It always strikes me how well Welcome to Rapture set the tone for the city
It makes the city feel more real

if you listen to Lighter Than Air you notice how the celestial and happy dappy rainbows sound is the main focus, but you can also hear this creepy violins on the background, like terror movie violins to sorta represent how Columbia may be beautiful on the surface but if you dig deep into its history it is a very fucked up place.

Ocean On His Shoulders hurts my heart something fierce. Every time. Beautiful song, wonderful soundtrack.
It’s the only one I found on Spotify too
The Big Daddy
The Big Sister
The Songbird
All just trying to protect something they hold dear to them
Feels strange and touching at the same time knowing that both derivates from Songbird and Elizabeth's bond... Almost like Big Sister are Elizabeths before Levine invented Elizabeth herself
Ocean on his shoulders. Just beautiful and heartbreaking.
Not gonna cry, not gonna cry
7:52 (Flashback to seeing Eleanor along with all the little sisters you saved and their smiling faces in the beautiful weather. 'If Utopia is not a place, but a people, then we must choose carefully. For the world is about to change. And in our story, Rapture was just the beginning)
CRYING, CRYING, OH MY HEART, MY HEART
You're goddamn right *CRY A LOT TOO*
@@gamideoecdysis2872 I can’t listen to Eleanors lullaby without crying now. So yeah, always a lot of crying.
@@jamesthomson9525 Yes, a beautiful song
the bioshocks have the best pieces of audio i have ever heard in a game gives me chills everytime
Personally, I liked the music in the original Mass Effect trilogy a lot too.
I gotta say that the music to Halo 2 is probably the best I’ve ever heard but these are up there
Personally, Bioshock 2 was my favorite, because of the story, and that beautiful ending.
Same here, plus you can dual wield plasmids and weapons at same time. Perfecting what was already nearly perfect.
I really never understood why people loved 2. Personally, I was bored quickly by the "courier-type" missions repeated over and over again. It does have great gameplay, but I feel that's not the best trait of the Bioshock games.
1 and Infinite left me blown away. 2 left me disappointed. To each his own I suppose.
Which one of the six endings?
@@wormlord7918 Any of them. They were all emotional and fantastic.
2 is great but i have to give best story to the first bioshock that one left my mind blown 2 crushed my heart and infinite sucked
Eleanor's Lullaby is so beautiful
Everytime i hear it, i cry
I just harvested ONE... ONE LITTLE SISTER. JUST ONE.

Bioshock is just one of those rare videogame series where every entry is amazing
I am NOT a fan of Bioshock Infinite AT ALL, but I can't help but find it interesting how Elizabeth's and Songbird's relationship is so similar and yet opposite to Eleanor's and Delta's.
-Delta is someone that Eleanor loved and lost very early on and she did everything in her power to bring him back.
-Songbird is someone Elizabeth despises (but has a sort of Stockholm syndrome thing going on where she still cares for him in a way) that has always been there and she does everything in her power to get away from him.
-Both Delta and Songbird are fiercely protective of their charges and will do just about anything to get them back.
-Delta dies FOR Eleanor.
-Songbird dies BECAUSE of Elizabeth.
I like to think that elanor and Delta were that universe's versions of booker and Elizabeth
I got progressively sadder from start to finish.
We gonna talk about how The Ocean on His Shoulders blends so seamlessly with Empty Houses?
Essentially they're the same song, but as the game progressed they became sadder to convey how the city that once thrived had now begun to die
Bioshock Infinite makes me cry everytime, my favourite game. Especially DLCs
I'm proud of the Bioshock Community and all the people with their sincere emotions being shared in the comments section. It is truly a time to be alive to enjoy this trilogy and share it with others with similar taste.
yes, my brother, we come together, to share our emotions, such as how these gory and violent games changed my life. all jokes aside, im shedding a couple manly tears while listening to these songs.
@@SevenRedSunsOfficial Aye, same.
@@anissulaiman4403I listened to this video on loop for a couple hours, and then quit what I was doing and started playing bioshock again

Pairbond (BioShock 2 theme) is 100% my favorite song out of the entire franchise. I got chills whenever I heard it in game.
11:25 to 11:34 yeeeees, so short but sweet! When you first get into the sky on infite, I love it.
That's when Booker gets drowned. 😭😭😭

Jeeeeeeesus Christ, the transition from bioshock song at 8:38 til bio shock infinite song is literally perfect!
It sounds like the violins play the exact same tune, so it fits perfectly.
The two songs have also always reminded me a lot about each other.
Thanks for this :-)
I'm ready for Bioshock 4 let's go🚀
Me too
Pair bond from bioshock 2 is such a simplistic song but it gives off so much, like of I wanted to chill for a few hours I would listen to it. Just another thing why the bioshock series is great.

(BIOSHOCK 2 ENDING SPOILERS)
If i have to be honest. The death of Sinclair made me cry more than the happy ending of this.
The worst part you can't choose to save him or not 💔

I'm not afriad to admit it Eleanor's Lullaby ALWAYS brings me to tears :(
I wish I could go back in time to all those good times. life genuinely seemed so happier back then...
I don't know if it's the context of the Story but Elizabeth's Theme always does it for me. I'm always sitting there like "Alright... not gonna cry... it's only a beautiful song.... calm down.

Hearing this music puts me right back in Rapture (and Columbia). I think I'm going to try playing it through headphones while walking through Walmart to see if it elevates the overall level of weirdness to artistic proportions. If splicers exist in our world, they're probably at Walmart.
The ocean on his shoulders honstely gives me chills
Glad you liked it! :)
Hey jaydi, if you like music , you should definitely go try out these games:
Deliver us the moon
Soma
Fe
absoloute work of art, music, the gameplay, everything. Stunning.
Pairbond and Elizabeth theme makes me emotional for some reason
Bioshock in terms of gameplay technicality is not perfect but for me, it is a perfect game. One of the best trilogies up there for me. Just listening to their soundtrack alone is enough to induce flashbacks of my memories when I played these games back when I was younger. Like with Jack’s saviour ending where he gets what he always wanted, a family and company with the little sisters. Or with Delta and Eleanor finally free from Rapture. And with Booker finally learning how badly he messed up his and his daughter’s life. I’m in college now and I just replayed the entire trilogy with the remastered versions. Oh boy, it looked just as beautiful as the first time I laid my eyes on these games. If there are things I regret about bioshock it’s the fact that I could never forget about this game and I’ll never be able to experience it for the first time again. Words will never be able to justify how I feel about this game but the music, it does capture the magic.
I can't wait to hear what beautiful music they have for Bioshock 4 😭
I wish that there could be more
Don't play with my emotions like that!
Step 1) Listen to Elanor's Lullaby
Step 2) Remember The Bioshock 2 Good ending
Step 3)Cry
Step 4) Cry a lot
Repeat Step 3 and 4
*remembers my fuck up of shooting the dancers during Sander Cohen's song....*
Concerned Parent I destroyed them, I think it was the song that helped the most. Either thay or they weaken the splicers for those parts to make you feel cool.
The second time around I legit SAT there for an hour listening to it over and over.
Booker The Hooker where is ana? :v
Booker The Hooker Yeah. I took the electric buck shot and had to kill them and Sander Cohen.
Its actually designed like that, They have weak health because your part of his performance. So players can really get into it if they want to. Bioshock is really art
bioshock series is my best game series in my entire game life....these are masterpeices...
Better than bendy and the ink machine
for me BioShock Will Always Be a Special Experience wich No Game Will Give Me again
Amen to that same feeling here Brother
Best soundtrack ever, very moving. :')
Lol your name sassy Ryan
Pairbond....god I can't tell just what fond memories bioshock 2 brings to me whenever I think of it. My first game I ever chose for myself as a kid, I got it at a blockbuster believe it or not. Played it when I was 8 and until last year, I'd had the disc until losing it. It will always hold a special place in my heart, the way everything looks and how you can just move throughout mission's and take note of all raptures citizen's going through thee realization of survival of the fittest, the weak vs the strong, chaff from the wheat.
Found this 8 years too late, thank you very much for putting this together! The music used in the first 2 Bioshocks are just amazing. I cant wait for the next game and just hope its set in Rapture. So much to be explored still in my opinion!
You have saved my sanity, i spend alot of time seeking for music i heard in some place and now i you wave it right under my nose.
A girl offered me a way out and I was despite enough to believe it.......
The Ocean on His Shoulders -> masterpiece! So deep...
thank you for these incredible moments of rapture!
This is so beautiful, thank you for uploading it! :)
Still masterpieces.
Being realistic, b2 is My favorite.
It's music and story are simple the Best.
But, i gotta recognize that the first one is both beatiful and delightful.
chills just amazing
I love this. Thanks Jaydi.
Thank you so much! This is my favorite Bioshock Medley on RUclips. I've watched it so many times!
This is really well put together. Great selection too.
this song made me cry and thinking of my granfather and grandmother pass away when i was a baby
the ocean on his shoulders made me cry
Bioshock 2 in my opinion was my favorite soundtrack. It feels so emotional.
I also remember in the protected trials part of bioshock the original if I’m not mistaken “the ocean on his shoulders” plays out as a rosie big daddy fights a splicer and then gets crushed by some wale bones and you can hear him breathing his final breath. It made me feel very sad.
Amazing, thank you very much!
Bioshock 2's theme is so absurdly beautiful man, damn.
Exactly what I've been looking for!
Very nice pictures also :-)
Ty for uploading
Pairbond hits like a rock in da face
Bioshock gave me a respect for Violins that i never had before
can't agree with this list more
My favorites: The Ocean on His Shoulders, Baptism, Elizabeth, La Vie En Rose, Eleanor's Lullaby, Empty Houses
The Ocean on His Shoulders is definitly the sadest one. This Brings emotions back.
Only one word, Beautiful
Me and my grandma are listening to this cause the tune is kinda beautiful
These transitions are so good. Like its all a big progressive song or something.
They need to make a bioshock movie imagine how big in scale it could be the big name actors and the effects, bringing rapture and plasmids to life.pure art🔥
But about what could be about?
@@senorbolainas2991 that’s the exciting part they could either do a prequel to the game like the bioshock novelization by John Shirley or the games story focused more around jack crash landing and arriving at rapture after it has fallen .
And your wish became true

Using real instruments to sell the late 50s setting of the games really payed off, this music gets under my skin
This deserves billions of views

Don't forget Welcome to Rapture from Bioshock Infinite. By the way the songs bioshock used are very beautiful. They are Beyond The Sea(Bioshock), Waltz of the Flowers(Bioshock), Daddy Won't You Please Come Home(Bioshock 2), Hush Hush Hush Here Comes The Boogeyman(Bioshock 2) and In Hall of Heroes(Bioshock Infinite) etc.
Welcome to the circus of valueeeesss!
I'm not fan of video games or anything like that but this music selection is plain beauiful and in good taste. Nice indeed.
I love Skyrim & the Fallouts but no game made such a spiritual and emotional impact in my life like BioShock & Kingdom Hearts. Actually BioShock more then Kingdom Hearts, the symbolic relationship between Eleanor & her father was unbelievably relatable between my daughter and I. BioShocks soundtrack is so beautiful in every meaning of the word, it takes on a whole variety of emotional elements. BioShock is & forever will be a deliciously dark, demonically inspired, fantastic game.
All of my tattoos have great meaning but the Big Sister on my left calf holds the most weight.
Thank you for uploading this video.
Can’t wait for the next bioshock
Hopefully in the next game we get more audio like this

To Delta
RIP Subject Delta
You taught me that 'evil' is just a word. Under the skin, it's simple pain. For you, mercy was victory. You sacrificed, you endured, and when given the chance, you forgave. Always. Mother believed this world was irredeemable, but she was wrong, Father. We are Utopia, you and I, and in forgiving, we left the door open for her.-----
Good Job Delta
good selection.
Still love the transition from Eleanor's Lullaby to Lighter Than Air. Magical
I love all three games. They were perfect and amazing, all had shocking moments and this is probably the only games series I will ever continue to replay over and over.
