Volunteer to go from playing first rank trombone to a new instrumen (during Christmas Break) that makes you look funny for the band, then get back to me.

I saw my college tuba professor play this and Napoli on his tuba. its amazing what you can do when you practice. i love how this guy makes it look like he's having trouble.
Man. You guys should have heard them when they came to my high school this year! They were SO awesome! I got to talk to them too. Let me just say, they act as though they weren't famous and incredibly skilled! They are some of the most down to Earth people I have ever met!
Almost certain this thread is talking about Beethoven. Like 99.9999999% certain. Bach did most, if not all, of his keyboard work with organ and harpsichord. Matter of fact, the piano as we know it didn't exist in Bach's lifetime. I'm entertaining the possibility that this has been a mildly elaborate attempt at a troll, in which case *GASP!* OHNOYOUGOTMEIHAVEBEENTROLLED. MUSTACTIVATEAPATHYDEFENSEMECHANISMBEFOREITISTOOLATE.
hahahahahaha that was so entertaining i wish i saw it live i would have busted out laughing at all their faces. and the trumpet had to come over and finger the tuba part. i would have gotten mad if someone did that to me though
its a sketch, some musicians do that when they're bored, the song is practically all tongue and im fairly certain they included in all of the act for a comedic effect, me and my band does this all the time but classical professional groups do it to break the tension (just check the Mnozil brass). And even if the recording isnt him playing then he would still have to have had played it before because no music software i've seen can really make a sound of a tuba tonguing
I like the fact that he looks physically pained while playing this, really helps emphasize how difficult this is lol.
*Tries to play first few notes*
*has fingers broken*
I’m in begginer band, and I already memorized the whole thing on tuba. xD

I'm sure it's an act. Mr. Dallenbach is one of the finest tuba players I've ever seen, and met before too.
I play Euphonium. Does baby Tuba count? No? Dammit!
+Luis Rosario Speak English this is America
+Wolfjadeslinger Not sure if it's sarcasm or a genuine question...
No, the easy mode tuba does not count.
tenor tuba counts
Yes it does it is still in the same family
Imagine doing this and one of the valves on the tuba sticks. I'm impressed that he used a piston tuba instead of rotary.

If some 10 year old says "i'm a music prodigy" that 10 year old will wake up tomorrow with no ears so they can be like Bach, a deaf music prodigy.
Bach wasn't deaf you ignorant piece of shit.
Actually, mark, he was suffering from hearing loss in his later life. He broke pianos because he was playing too loudly and could barely hear it.
Almost certain this thread is talking about Beethoven. Like 99.9999999% certain. Bach did most, if not all, of his keyboard work with organ and harpsichord. Matter of fact, the piano as we know it didn't exist in Bach's lifetime.

I served one and half years for korean army band as a trombone player.
And I doubt mere humanbeing can generate this kind of sound on their own power.

hahahahahaha that was so entertaining i wish i saw it live i would have busted out laughing at all their faces. and the trumpet had to come over and finger the tuba part. i would have gotten mad if someone did that to me though
I'm so not ready for this 0.0
@tytzer93 u mean triple?
i swear that guy on french horn looks the guy with one arm on the movie "the fugitive"
That was so cute lol
This is awesome, but it's making me paranoid as hell that there's actually a swarm of bees right outside my window...
Tuba bee is much more bad ass than a bumble bee.
The queen bee has arrived.
AWESOME!!! :D
crazy
is that dvorak on trumpet?
Anyone have any idea what kind of mouthpiece he is using?
My lips would explode.
Flight of the Tubabee eh... Hold my beer
