    Did Alex count the rice, or did they get Josh Widdecombe to do it?

    • @jareenamrahs
      @jareenamrahs Год назад +140

      They might have got Josh Widdecombe to do it for an unaired "task" that he's fuming about. Though there is a reasonable way to go about finding the percentage of rice transferred as that's what Alex expressed the end results. By having the weight of all the rice at the start and then after the task collecting all the non transferred rice and then weighing the amount remaining.

His hands shaking etc definitely was the Parkinson’s, but him not thinking through the tasks is a lot less likely to be the Parkinson’s. In many cases, the Parkinson’s medication is what takes away the mind/accelerates dementia etc, so if this was before he was even diagnosed or on medications, I’m guessing at least 90% of his confusion and poorly thought through choices were just how he is. You can see it affect him on the physical tasks, but he is more than his illness and you can’t reduce everything he does down to a diagnosis he didn’t have at the time. Exactly. That’s very much not that case, they are very proud to try and keep the comedy real and give the people (Alex and Greg included) room play off each other. As for how Greg seems to know stuff, on occasions Alex might have told him in advance how to play it, but also the gallery could know to give him a prompt through his earpiece at a specific time… “before asking who is next, riff with Alex about how simple the task rules are”.

    Wording is important. The contents of the basket are whatever is in the basket at any given time. Nothing was said about it having to be the contents of the basket at the start of the task.
    So get a funnel and jar/pot/whatever from the kitchen. Put them into the basket, aka they are now the contents of the basket. Now push all the rice into the pot, put it back into the basket, just to be sure, and go over and fill the jar in the living room, funnel to make it easier. The basket and its contents were used to move the rice and so on.

      Once you go down that router you're arguing that it's not what's in the basket at the moment of reading the task, but rather that you can use anything as long as it is inside the basket, which then means that as soon as you take anything out to use it, it's no longer in the basket and may not be used.
      So by that logic, you have to use things whilst they are inside the basket, which makes it harder.
